Sew Much Trouble is an absolutely delightful middle-grade mystery that had me smiling from start to finish! The clever use of homophones and tricky words turns each chapter into a mini learning adventure, encouraging young readers to think about language in a fun, playful way. The balance between wordplay and plot keeps the pacing snappy without ever feeling forced — kids will be giggling and learning.I especially loved the reality-show twist in how the mystery unfolds. It’s a fresh take on the genre that adds energy and keeps the stakes feeling current without overshadowing the mystery itself. The Easter eggs for parents were a joy to spot — a perfect wink to readers who grew up with similar pop culture nods.Overall, this book is both engaging and educational, with heart, humor, and a smart mystery that invites rereads. Highly recommended for kids who love wordplay, laughs, and unexpected twists!I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher. This review is my own, honest opinion.
