This book is written for the EE. Having studied electric machinery, power electronics, semiconductor devices, magnetics, and power systems, the material in this book is fairly easy to understand and follow. If you are not familiar with these subjects, the book does a good job explaining these subjects to a sufficient level of understanding that is needed.This book is very well written for the practicing engineer and the upper-division engineering student. If you desire to understand the engineering of EVs, this is good book to learn the nuts and bolts. I have enjoyed reading this book.

Very well thought out book if you want to understand EV fundamentals. A lot of very good content, well worth the read.

Very good book to learn about EV, HEV and PHEV; it cover many aspects. I thought it goes too far in calculation formulae without providing enough theoretical basis, but you can always refer to the numerous references provided. In short the book was very instructive for me.
