Reviews:
1.0 out of 5 stars Very complicated and impractical approach
The approach suggested by the authors is very complicated and not practical, they suggest a systems thinking approach and in the very first step of the process veer away form systems and a holistic thinking approach start with optimizing sub parts in the very first chapter by optimizing a part of the system. For any system and approach to be successful ones approach has to be on solid grounds and simple enough and clear boundaries for it to be successful, think six sigma and other such methodologies, the approach suggested by the authors for the DI has too much variation for it to have any serious of a mature framework.
