Ladies and Gentlemen, if you have been wanting to spice up your sex/love life but didn’t have a clue as to where to start or how to begin, then this is the book for you…the key you have been seeking. Now, in order to successfully use this key, you need only to have an open mind and a willingness to stretch yourself beyond your comfort zone, even if just a tiny bit….or go big! In either case, you will find yourself exploring new, exciting ways to enhance your sex life in a myriad of ways. I will caution this book does require your relationship to be healthy with a strong foundation, good communication and full on trust and respect regarding each other’s limits and areas of trepidation…respecting boundaries is crucial. LOVE, fun, and trust must be the overall theme and if it ceases to be fun for one, you agree to stop, PERIOD. With those guidelines in place and adhered to, you can both safely explore places and ideas and situations that can truly enhance the sexual inferno within. Feeling it stir and come alive can be so heady and beyond exciting.My most favorite part in the book is that they hit the nail right on the head regarding emotions. Without an emotional connection, most do not or even some cannot have a good sexual experience and those that feel they do, most likely feel there is something missing but cannot pinpoint what. As humans, our emotions are our guiding system, our compass throughout life in every.single.way. And that is why there are so many people that feel lost or broken, because they have become disconnected from their emotions. And Mali and Joe really do a fantastic job in explaining why the emotional connection is important sexually. I was so giddy with excitement because there are very few books that I have read that even touch on this or, if they do, they do not explain it so clearly the way Mali and Joe have in the book.The stories shared gave such remarkable depth to the intimacies explored that the book felt alive at times. There are so many great examples shared that there is no way that a couple cannot find one or even more new and exciting scenarios to delve into, as long as both partners are willing and open to do so. Arousing, exhilarating action awaits! 😉The last chapter may be a bit too risqué for some, but I encourage you to go within and ask yourself what are your beliefs regarding the topic, where did those beliefs come from, can you let the beliefs go and explore the possibilities? An open mind allows for less fear and more exciting options. Remember, you are always in control, free to choose how far you are willing to go. Just imagine…Truly, this book is a game changer. Whether you are a couple or single, this is a must read for a phenomenally healthy sex life that will only strengthen your relationship in so many other areas.

Wild Monogamy provides a solid, complete, and exhilarating dose of spiritual advice and reflection expressed in secular terms to cultivate intimacy. Mali Apple and Joe Dunn stay true to the core principle of inner mutual growth explored in their previous relationship books (The Soulmate Experience, The Soulmate Lover) and now they invite the reader to new adventures while having some open and courageous conversations with oneself and each other.The book caught my interest right from the beginning. The first chapter dives right into an intimacy inquiry asking a variety of relevant questions leading you to the multiple directions the book explores. The book goes into fundamental aspects of romance and intimacy, such as: trust, acceptance, and connection. There are multiple examples throughout the book illustrating good practices to cultivate intimacy. Mindfulness, controlled jealousy, vulnerability, curiosity, and aging together are all covered in depth with a variety of examples about other couples and the authors themselves.Mali and Joe use a friendly, and relaxed writing style in which they both take turns speaking with the reader in first person. This gave me the impression that I was having a frank conversation with a couple of friends who care about my growth and happiness. A notable aspect of this book is its solid references with notations taking the reader to supporting books on various topics. There is a valuable index at the end of the book as well as a list of dating ideas. The Audible version was also quite enjoyable as both authors do the narration.In general, I enjoyed Wild Monogamy’s originality and creativity as it offers a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to cultivate intimacy and romance. If you are in a relationship or single, this book has plenty to offer to everyone willing to do the work to build long lasting intimacy and to be a better partner, friend, and human being.

Man, I really could've used this book "Wild Monogamy" back when I got married in 2000! It might have saved me from the whole divorce mess...Now over 10 years later after my divorce, and after one incredibly passionate long term on and off again dating relationship, I realize keeping passion alive in ALL relationships whether married or dating, takes some serious hard work.I used to think the sparks and chemistry from those early days of marriage and/or dating, would just magically carry over into the relationship. Boy was I wrong! You get bogged down with day to day life stuff...jobs, bills, pets, kids and all of a sudden you're just roommates sharing a bed. All intimacy and passion goes out the window.That's why I'm so grateful for this down-to-earth guidebook for couples struggling to keep things spicy. Mali and Joe offer a bunch of practical exercises, communication techniques and sexy bedroom tips that would have been super helpful to me back in the day. I especially like the advice about scheduling regular date nights and bonding activities as a couple so you don't lose that incredible "special" high feeling that you so cherished in the beginning of your relationship.
