Santiago Cohen is an illustrator whose works have appeared in "The New York Times," "The New Yorker," and "The Washington Post," as well as in children's books. He is also a film animation designer and director at Ink Tank whose projects include "Troubles the Cat" episodes on Cartoon Network and the Emmy award-winning HBO specials "Goodnight Moon and Other Sleepytime Tales" and "How Do You Spell God?" He lives in Hoboken, New Jersey.

I love the “Good Night” books. I read them to my baby as part of our bedtime routine. They are short and take 5 mins to read. The baby can practice turning the pages with the board books. And the best part - they take baby and mommy on a mini adventure. I personally love San Francisco and want to share that with my baby. We are planning a trip to Hawaii soon so we will start reading “Good Night Hawaii” to prepare our baby for the upcoming trip, as if she can understand the places in the book!

I grew up in the Bay Area and miss it dearly. This story is a great reminder of all of the things I love about San Francisco. The rhymes are cute and the pictures are captivating and full of little things to look at. When our kids get older, I think we can also use this book to play a game of "find the _____," as there are so many little things to look at on the pages.

The Good Night Our World series are wonderful little books to add to any child's library. My daughter has quite a few of these. Since I live in SF, I usually send the SF version to my friends with kids (even though the NYC version is my daughter’s favorite). It's great because when the kids visit SF, they immediately recognize landmarks from the book such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, the cable cars, and even Muir Woods in nearby.

I bought this for my 2 year old son before our trip to San Francisco. It really enhanced our trip! Anytime we saw something from this book, he would pull the book out to tell us about it. It helped him to remember the places and their names. It mentions and pictures Cable Cars,sea lions, Golden Gate Park, Coit Tower, Lombard Street, The Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, the Pacific Ocean, and a few others. It was well worth buying!!!

Our son was so happy when he got this book fir Christmas. It turned out that they had it at his preschool. Living in the Bay Area are four year old son has made day trips into the city. He was excited to see all the places he had been. It also prompted us to plan day trips to a few of the places we have not visited yet.
