Warren W. Wiersbe, former pastor of the Moody Church and general director of Back to the Bible, traveled widely as a Bible teacher and conference speaker. Dr. Wiersbe wrote over 150 books, including the popular BE series of commentaries on every book of the Bible, which has sold more than four million copies. At the 2002 Christian Booksellers Convention, he was awarded the Gold Medallion Lifetime Achievement Award by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association.

Dr.Wiersbe was a prolific Biblical writer and teacher. His authorship of a NKJV study Bible, Bible commentary, study series, and many more books are all excellent.His “With the Word” book is of the same excellent writing. It’s amazing how well he was able to condense/summarize the Bible to such a small work. The paperback is thick and doesn’t seem small, but considering the breadth of the work (the Bible) that he is dealing with, he did an amazing job.This book is particularly helpful to people new to the Bible.I recommend this book to anyone- it’s a terrific overview of the Bible.

It's nice and very informative I just wish the book could of been more bigger it's small and thick I've had my eye on this book for quite some time to help me with my spiritual life growing and expanding with God, just glimpsing through it I can tell it's jam packed with great information, literally is chapter by chapter that's why is so thick and with conclusions to reflect on you can definitely use it for reference if you didn't quite understand a story,verse or scripture

Just bought this a few weeks ago and WOW. I had no idea what I was missing. This, along with my study bible, has given me such an in-depth, insightful and meaningful reading time. If you want to dig a little deeper, pick this up ASAP!

This book is wonderful for explaining and helping clarify the Scriptures. It’s a thick book basically the size of a regular paperback which makes it impossible to lay open. It’d be so great if it was done in a different size and format to make it easier to use.

This book is such a help aid when reading the Bible. Easy to understand and yet so relevant. I have bought this for gifts..especially for younger folk to encourage and teach them in The Word. Mr. Wiersbe had such a gift for Bibe teaching. I strongly recommend this book.
