This book is a lot of fun to fill in those amazing quotes your young ones say! It's a great gift idea as well for those who are expecting. My 8 and 6 year old kids love to see what they were saying as toddlers looking back in the book makes everyone laugh! They have fun watching us make entries on their 2 year old brother now!

Whenever we need a good laugh or feel like going down memory lane, we head for any of the FIVE volumes of "My Quotable Kid" books that have been filled with our child's hilarious thoughts on life. For example, we tried the joke, "what does a panda cook with" and our child retorts, with absolute conviction, "carrots?!"❗️SPOILER ALERT: It's NOT carrots 😂(It's a pan, duh.)We write in these journals almost daily b/c our child says thee funniest, most random things. It's pretty cool to write them all down along with a brief synopsis of the comment, date and where it was said. We love knowing that our child will have these relics to leaf through some day and have a good belly laugh just like we did ❤️

While My Quotable Kid is designed for capturing memorable moments from kids, I've found it perfect for recording all the ridiculous things my coworkers say. The layout is simple yet effective, giving just enough space for each quote, making it easy to keep track of all the unexpected gems I hear during the workday. I especially love that there’s a spot to put a picture at the front; it adds a nice personal touch and makes it feel like a keepsake.

I'm not the scrapbooking type. My kids do not have baby books. My second child was old enough to tell me with his words that the photo of the kid on the mantle was his big brother and not him before we took a family photo that included the second child. In short, I am not great at preserving memories, but I DO have this journal-style book. I write down things my kids say to me that amaze me or make me laugh. Sometimes I write down a few sentences to set up the situation worthy of the preserved quote. The pages are just quote bubbles with lines for you to write on, and a smaller quote bubble asking who said it, where, and when. The design is simple, with bold graphics, and visually appealing. There are no pithy quotes from anyone else on each page. No illustrations or cutesy drawings to visually clutter up the page. There is a nice skinny turquoise blue attached ribbon book mark and an elastic pen loop. I got this book when my first child was about 2, and in 4 years, I'm still not half way through filling it. Again, I'm not great at preserving memories, but I figure that will only make the things I've jotted down in the book all the more valuable when I (or my kids) look back in it years from now. I've given this as a gift to friends at least twice, and would do it again. These days, it's easy to think that one could "go digital" with these quotable kid entries and preserve them on a blog, in FB, or simply in a word document somewhere. But like the digital photos that reside only on your computer, and not your mantel, having a physical object you can see, touch and feel is just more special.

I used to keep a little box with notecards in it with all the funny things my kids would say, but it was so overwhelming this puts everything in one place. It has little bubbles that you writer in which hinders your ability to write the entire circumstance of the quote. You lose a lot of space on the page to these little bubbles. I wish they didn't have those because sometimes the circumstances surrounding why your child that said something makes it even funnier. I think because I had just now in the book form I will keep up with it more often than I did but I filed parts and filing box I wish they would've had something like this with my children were little bit smaller I would've used it right from the start. This would make a great baby shower gift even though the mother to be will not use it right away when she does start using that she will really cherish it. Perhaps purchasing it and writing an inscription in the front of the book about how many things are children will say that are funny as they grow up would certainly add value to this gift.

This book is a fantastic idea. It is filled with cute pages where you can fill in those memorable quotes. There is room for the quote itself and spaces for Who, When, Age, and Where. Yes, it's a simple idea -- any blank journal could be used for the same, but I like it ALOT anyway. I wish I had it when my nine year old was about two. There is also space inside the front cover for a photo. As a parent, I would recommend one book for each child. When they get married and have kids of their own, they can see how they were at the same ages. It's a small size and can be kept handy for those special tidbits that come out of your kid's mouth. It's easier to get to and has more space than those generalized memory books with one or two pages for each year of life. I am going to buy these for all my friends when their kids turn two. Highly recommend.

When our 2 year old started talking and saying the funniest things my wife started writing them down in a notebook and commented how she wished she could find a journal just for the purpose of writing down his comments. So I searched and came across My Quotable Kid and ordered it for her for Christmas. The book is much better than a plain notebook for many reasons: 1. It's in a special book just for that child and won't get mixed into a notebook that has different purposes 2. You can write down which child said it so you can use for multiple children 3. You can write where the child said the statement, who they were with, and how old they were. 4. It also has a hard cover which makes it more durable. My wife loves this book and spends her free time reminiscing about our sons quotes.

Imprescindible para recordar todas las cosas que dicen los niños
Es un libro que deberían tener todos los padres/madres y un regalo estupendo para alguien con hijos. Te permite escribir todas las cosas que dicen los niños anotando quien lo ha dicho, cuándo y dónde. Tiene unos bocadillos, unos más grandes y unos más pequeños que puedes rellenar con las anécdotas y comentarios. La primera página tiene un recuadro para poner la foto del niño/a. Yo lo he comprado para mi y he regalado otros cuatro y todo el mundo ha quedado encantado. (Hay que tener en cuenta que está en inglés, aunque realmente lo que esta escrito es poco: quien, cuando, edad y fecha, ya que el resto lo escribes tú).
