This is a great book of nursery rhymes. It’s well made and durable. My 2 1/2 year old son is interested in the bright pictures. The characters are animals. It has some good rhymes: Hey Didle, Didle, Hickory Dickory Dock, and some lesser known ones. I wish it had Humpty Dumpty. As a reading specialist, I know how important rhyme and rhythm is for young children to build phonemic awareness. This book does the trick. I bought it once 10 years ago with my first daughter and again with my son. You won’t be disappointed.

I was hoping the book was full of the traditional well known nursery rhymes but half were ones I had never heard of. But the illustrations were beautiful and make up for some of my disappointment.

This is a quality book with amazing illustrations. My three year old granddaughter loves it and has already memorized most of the rhymes. My First Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes has become a daily routine for her.I highly recommend it.

This is our second copy, the first lasted years - through 3 babies\toddlers maybe? - with lots of regular use. I've purchased these for baby gifts as well (books are often overlooked by new parents, or as gifts, but they are such an important activity for little ones). Our kids adore the illustrations, they offer lots to talk about, and I loved the classic rhymes.

Sturdy and beautifully illustrated.
This book of selected nursery rhymes is nicely designed, with padded covers and wonderful illustrations to stimulate a child’s imagination. I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and can’t wait to share it with my first grandchild expected soon. I know it will be well loved in this grandma’s home!
Lovely book for babies and toddlers
I bought this when my baby was born and we have been reading it ever since! He is now 2 years old and loves all the nursery rhymes and pointing out all the animals in the beautiful illustrations. Highly recommend!
