This is a steal for what I paid (approximately $29). I love the cover, the easy to read font, and having the words of Jesus in blue rather than red. The bible is a nice, larger size with a soft floppy cover. I love the gold gilded design on the page edges. The page weight is nice, without a lot of print bleed through. To me, this is one of the best values in NKJV bibles out there. it has a lot of highly positive reviews by the bible reviewers on YouTube.

The New King James translation is my favorite.I grew up with it and I’m used to its beautiful cadence and the vocabulary it uses.I’ve been looking for a decent quality Bible and I think I found the “one”.The chapter numbers are blue instead of the usual red and for a color blind reader these are so much easier to read.I prefer words of Christ in black rather than red but this one has it in blue and if I hade to choose between red and blue I would go blue hands down.It’s thin and light so I can take it everywhere with me.The the leather feels and looks like a top grain cowhide leather. Not a premium leather but better than imitation. It’s edge lined so it will have a long life.It has beautiful gauffered edges with a light gold gilding. Super elegant looking. The design is “engraved” in the pages edges so even if the gilding fades the design will remain.The paper feels like 36 GSM European paper and has a slight sheen.The downsides are few but present.For the price it’s completely worth it.

This bible is awesome! It's hard to find a nice NKJV bible in paragraph format that checks all the boxes I often have. The art-gilding on the edges looks so premium and nice and immediately grabs attention (which some might not like). The ribbons are nice and lengthy and the black and teal colors match the bible perfectly. The font and point size is nice and easy on the eyes. But my favorite feature is the blue letter text. Unlike your traditional red letter text for the words of Christ (which I normally do not like) this bible has them in a nice blue. For my I have a hard time with colors and red text on white always messes with my eyes and I have a hard time reading it. With the blue, my eyes have a really easy time reading it. My only gripe (and it's minor) is that I wish there was more cross-references. They gave the absolute minimal amounts of cross-references to keep the nice page formatting and layout. Overall, I would highly recommend this bible, especially if you love the NKJV.

The media could not be loaded. This Bible is for me the best that $30+ dollars can buy. I opted for the black leathersoft. This text block is now my favorite, even compared to my Premier Edition (red letter), the blue highlights and comfort print here are incredibly readable. The Leathersoft is also surprisingly nice, velvety soft, and light-weight. It feels better in my hand than my premium goatskin thin-line, and that’s saying something! Sure it’s a paper paste down cover, not leather or vinyl nor edge lined. But truly, you can’t beat the price nor this layout for ease of reading and carrying. It even has raised spine-hubs, for thirty bucks!?! That’s an unnecessary but welcome luxury at this price point. Sidenote, having felt the genuine leather, I actually think this leathersoft is superior in its own way, considering the price. If I were you, I’d by two!

This is worth the money, attractive and the text block is great. I’m not one for floppy covers but most would be happy. It has the floppy feel of a premium goatskin cover of which I am not a fan. Still, a nice Bible for the money.

I have to say, this is a Great bible for $30! Its actually a steal. The pics online look good, but It looks WAY BETTER in person. It's a great large print bible, with raised spine hubs, beautiful gilding and Indexed as well! 10 point font is very readable. This text block are my favorite. I added some pics of a size comparison to my Personal Size Super Grint print NLT from Tyndale. I'll definitely be using this bible when I preach. It looks super "clean" like the layout of the double columns with the references on the bottom look so nice and the blue accents and words in Christ in blue 💙 are a great detail as well.

The media could not be loaded. As the title says, and as I mentioned in the video, I prefer the leathersoft version of the Maclaren to the genuine leather. Reason being that the genuine leather comes with a vinyl insert... the vinyl is nice, don't get me wrong, but if you're like me and your hands start to hurt easily, the vinyl is so thick, (vinyl glued to card-stock glued to a page,) that it wants to keep the Bible closed... the compact would start to hurt my hands after keeping it open for more than a few minutes. In the picture with the compact next to the thinline, you can see that I, (and it hurt me to do,) actually cut out the vinyl that was sticking up, separated the page and the card-stock-like-thing, and then glued it back down.That may not be an issue with this version compared to the compact; the pages are larger, therefore weighing more, so they might be able to hold that insert down a bit better. Just something to note if you have arthritis/ frequent rsi/ other joint pains.The font is incredibly readable and I really enjoy the layout. The leathersoft of this version, at least in my opinion, feels better than genuine leather; softer, smoother... just... nicer.As long as they keep this version in print, I'll definitely be buying more whenever needed. 10/10.

I was 100% expecting to love this Bible, but not as much as I ended up loving it! My hands down favorite features of this Bible are the text size, it's very readable, and the words of Christ being in blue instead of red. The words of Christ being in blue is actually amazing! I feel like the words of Jesus are still emphasized, but in a better way than using red. Would I recommend? You already know what I'm gonna say. What are you waiting for? Especially if you like the NKJV, you really need this in your collection. Happy reading! 📖

Qualidade excelente.
Altura e a largura dessa Bíblia são iguais as de uma Bíblia de estudo, tal como a bíblia de estudo de Genebra, entretanto ela é fina, por isso é super leve. Letra grande e contável pra ler. Os títulos dos livros, títulos dos capítulos e números dos capítulos, bem como as palavras de Jesus estão em tinta azul, o que a deixa super elegante. A capa de imitação de couro é simplesmente elegante e vistosa, com um tom clássico. Tradução incrível da New King James. Recomendo muito. Percebe-se um grande esmero da Thomas Nelson em trazer uma bíblia básica de qualidade superior, com referências cruzadas e concordância com papel excelente. Dá gosto de ter e ler. Recomendo. Uma das melhores bíblias que já comprei na vida.

Best bible under $50USD
This is by far the best bible under $50 (purchased for $30USD on sale) i have ever seen. Great high quality European paper with minimal bleed through. The imitation leather is probably the best imitation leather in the game. The NKJV maclaren thinline bible is the perfect size for just about anything, its pretty my a jack of all trades, you can preach, travel, sit at a table and read etc. Font is very clear and easy to read. If you are not fond of red letter bible id suggest trying the blue letter in this bible, it is much easier on the eyes than red letter.I do wish that they had a goatskin version with the blue text maclaren text block available.This has officially become my go to gift bible for believers and new believers. Cant say how much i love this maclaren series thinline bible and price point enough
