Reading the Bible in chronological order makes it so much more readable and interesting. It also has information that puts much of the Bible in historical context, making it easier to understand many passages. It is reasonably priced and I highly recommend this Bible.

My husband ordered one for my sister who is a denomination which does not encourage Bible reading and self-study. Together we reviewed many alternative versions. Because she does not a Sunday School or other Bible Study group we were looking for a Version with a logical well-organized approach using a accurate easy-to-understand translation (not a paraphrase). We also wanted foot notes and commentary to help the reader. We both agreed on this Bible. However, my husband placed two separate orders by mistake. We were both shocked and thankful when my sister called us later and thanked us. We were extremely happy when she told us her husband, a highly intelligent and educated professional who is a non-christian was very pleased with the one we sent him (that was news to us). She has since then reported how they have both studied and enjoyed their Bibles. My husband and I feel this Gods blessing to us all. Following this event we felt we needed a copy and ordered it.

This bible is in excellent condition, it is so informative about the facts besides the different Eras before the actual bible time. I got it because I need this chronological bible so I can understand better the bible. It is very complete with extra notes, maps, relevant dates. Love it!

Most excellent. Right size. Extra nice binding and covering. Much easier to read without being too big. Great purchase at much price less than buying at local bookstore.

This was a little different than expected but I do like it. There is a lot of information and descriptions about the books of the Bible. A pastor turned me on to reading the Bible chronologically. I had thought this would be a one-year Bible reading type Bible; however, it is not. It is a good study Bible that has some very good information. It does take getting use to finding old and New Testament passages. I bought an NIV version for my husband, who agrees with me about reading it. I bought my favorite version, the NKJV (New King James version. Not sorry I bought them and I still give them 5 stars.

As a 70 something reader, I found the print a bit too small. (Maps are difficult to read because of that feature). I do like the fact that it’s written in chronological order and some of the historical facts that go with the timelines are quite interesting and informative. Overall a good investment and the price was great.

I'm enjoying this study Bible. The historical annotations are extremely helpful for perspective and general information. The drawings are beautiful. The chronical ordering of the books does take some time to grasp. I like this for reading at home rather than in a class or group because of this. Good purchase.
Opened my eyes
Reading this Bible while seeking God full heartedly helped me see and understand how the Bible fits together, who it was written to and why the authors wrote the way they did. I've travelled with this bible for a year as i read through it and it has kept in pretty good shape, very well made. If you seek to know more about the Bible this is so worth it! Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
