Such a hard read but opens your eyes to the horror of human trafficking. Unreal to know this takes place even in our country. This practice is so sickening but we should know it is going on and God bless those who are in the trenches to put an end to it. Well written and hard to read but harder to put down.

The first book confused me too many times. This one explains much more. He's not a CATHOLIC priest. He's an Episcopal. But there are some things that are still odd about thst but whatever. That's not my specialty so I'll let it go.I think many of us were initially disappointed in the first because Mr. Martin normal writes such beautiful emotional stories. But this is an over the top series. And that's ok. It's still fun and being bothered is a choice. Not everything has to be a masterpiece. Some can just be fun without reality at all.

I was riveted from page one. The characters were believable and the story was exciting. You’ll find love and evil. I won’t spoil the end but just WOW! I can’t wait for the next book!

I have read christian fiction for years, started with Redeeming Love and mostly feel good, Love stories.Anything to keep my mind from hitting play, rewind, play, rewind, repeating over and over. Charles Martin’s novel popped up in my FB feed and for some unknown reason, I decided to look for it on Kindle Unlimited. Now, 6 books in a matter of weeks, I cant put it down once I get started! His writing is off the charts! Every book better than the last!

However, you can always rely on Charles Martin to deliver a fascinating story.
