I’ve been in burnout mode for a little while now and needed to work on my mindfulness and meditation . This is a terrific workbook! Organized into 4 sections of a daily reading, scripture, reflection questions and resources to turn to for further learning, this study packs a punch. If you feel your priorities are out whack, I encourage you to buy this and commit to using it for the full 40 days— Take an honest look at your life, and dare to prayerfully make changes if you’re feeling the tug that “there’s gotta be something more.” You’ll learn to prioritize your God-given passions, cultivate intentional habits, and replace meaningless striving with rest in God’s sovereignty. Biblical, practical and refreshing.

Each day, you receive a brief passage containing inspiring insights, practical tips (one of which made my mounting to-do list doable), and valuable resources to help you avoid burnout, maintain your priorities, and honor God and your loved ones with your time. I highly recommend this book!

…of the matter! Each chapter (day) has insightful and methodical approach to getting to the heart of the matter. Ruth and Karen tag team it to guide the reader to uncovering the “why”- not just the what of loving life. I love the format because it does allow for deep dive on the areas you want to - yet also meaningful content to explore and consider daily. Also, the daily structure leaves space for meaningful consideration and meditation- without racing through the book. Well written, can’t wait to see what the full 40 day journey will uncover!

I was fortunate to be able to read an advance copy of The Love Your Life project. This book is a perfect combination of practical advice and Biblical wisdom. If life has gotten a bit stale, or you feel like you’re being pulled in a million directions- this book is for you (and me!). It’s full of honesty and hope. We all struggle with our focus at times, Karen and Ruth bring it home in their practical, biblical way. 10/10!!
