Someone else got this as a gift and I had to have one. Bought two, one with Christmas music and one with jazz. It also looks good on a shelf.

The media could not be loaded. The other reviewer is incorrect. It IS barbie scale. 1/6 scale. I added an image with my hand and my own record player as a reference to the barbie hand and the mini record player which both look similar. Record players like this are actually pretty big so the scale is correct. It plays three vinyls (the sleeves for those are big though ) and it's cute that it actually works lol. I'm building a 60s mod house and this mini record player is just perfectttt. And the fact that it matches my real life record player is just the cherry on top.

The media could not be loaded. So cute. I bought this for my Barbie doll house and didn't care that it played music but it actually does! A pro tip: after placing the record on the turntable, you need to spin it a little with your finger and it'll start playing a short music piece. Three records are included.

I ordered this gift, for a friend, as a Christmas present. I was super stoked, when I found it, and thought it would be perfect for my vinyl loving buddy. Well...... He opened it last night and much to our dismay it didn't work. We thought, perhaps, that we were missing something simple and attempted to look for directions. There are none. We opened the back to see if it needed batteries but those were in there. There isn't an on/off switch and the best we can figure is that the little metal dot, on the back of the albums, must be designed to alert the unit that there's a record on the turntable. Despite our best efforts we couldn't make it work. I'm going to return it, after the holidays, and order another to see if maybe I just got a bunk one.

Item is cute & actually plays music, but my problem was trying to get the back off to replace the batteries. Whomever screwed the back on stripped the screws & made it impossible to take off. I have never been able to replace the batteries & I've had it for a year. My only solution is to buy another one which kind of sucks.

I just loved this Teeny-tiny turntable. It is well made and for the price I think it was a steel. It works very well with the 3 records. I am really happy I ordered this item. Highly reccomend purchasing it. A very happy cutomer.
Coole Idee mit mäßiger Umsetzung
Ich habe diesen Mini-Schallplattenspieler als "Witzgeschenk" gekauft, um eine Person zu überraschen, die sich schon lange einen echten Schallplattensplattenspieler wünscht. Dafür ist es hervorragend geeignet und süß gestaltet! Leider hatte ich das Pech, dass von drei mitgelieferten Schallplatten eine Schallplatte große optische Macken (d. Foto) aufweist und eine andere Platte ihr Spiel nach 10 Sekunden abbricht...Schade!

Llegó en buen estado y antes de tiempo, me sorprendió la buena calidad del producto ya que al ser un juguete, esperaba un poco menos en los detalles.
Perfect doll prop
It's cute, and although it's a teeny-tiny bit big for Barbies, it works perfectly as a prop for Pullips with their big heads! Nobody's buying this for the music quality, right...? It is very tinny and amusingly bad, and yes, you have to spin the record around a bit till the magnet triggers the playback. Comes with a choice of stickers to put on the records (hold down the center punch-out and peel carefully so it doesn't tear), and a little booklet with some vinyl history trivia and a list of top-10 albums (seriously, they left out Meat Loaf?!). If you are looking for a sixth-scale record player for a dollhouse or diorama, this is excellent. Paid $14ish.(Update; I bought a second one to give to a fellow doll collector and she loved it too.)
The daft stocking filler gift.
This is definitely living up to be the gag gift I bought it for. Opened to test it before passing it on to make sure it worked and it is just too funny and cute. Wish you could buy more LPs for it. A good one for the man who has everything twice.
