Fairly good sound effects for button one. Button two plays for too long with no way to interrupt it. It's light and plastic. The cover is very clunky to get open. It pretty much takes two hands to fiddle with it which diminishes the fun. All in all it's the best I could find on short notice and the price is good for what it is.

Saw this on tiktok but needed it asap so ordered through Bolo. Got it as a prop for some cosplaying. It’s not to scale but it’s a great, fun replica if you’re not looking for the exact same dimensions

The communicate itself is what I expected. However, it had the three small watch style batteries installed without a barrier to the internal connectors. As I am sure this type of product sits on the shelf a long time before being purchased, the batteries were old and had corroded the terminal. Needless to say the unit did not work until I removed the batteries, and cleaned the terminals. Which was quite difficult considering the access size is very limited. Upon installing new batteries, the communicator worked as advertised. I found this disappointing.

Really nice, and batteries still alive
Contrary to what Online videos of this communicator's review showed, the batteries still worked. What a surprise!I still went to Dollar store to get LR41 Batteries, and checked if that would make a difference.And what! No difference. So, the batteries in this are perfect. If they run out , $1.5 is what will cost you to change the batteries.Regarding the actual communicator, this is awesome. Perfect for giving as a gift to Star Trek Fans, and is easy on the bank too. There is another one that goes for $70 or so, but this one costs only $18. Although the size is mini, but the fun is full sized !!!!!! Jumbo fun not mini fun haha.Captain Kirk out~~
