As someone who's been following the keto carnivore lifestyle for 6-7 years, this book is a great addition to the library of cookbooks that I have. There's something to be able to hold a book and scroll to any page to get to what you want easily and fast without having to click on a bunch of categories to look for things. As someone who has been following Carolyn for so long, the book did not disappoint and her strong points do reflect her style of keto cooking and it's well varied but definitely shines in her baking aspect. While home cooking in general takes time to achieve healthy meal, Carolyn's approach doesn't take more time than you would for conventional cooking as she offers quick alternatives for things such as egg white tortillas, which can be easily bought at the store.I've had a kid since my keto carnivore journey and recipes that I did not have interest in previously, is now back into view as I try to curate my dishes for my kid that is high protein, but also sweet and delicious for my kid to enjoy. You know the palette of your kid and Carolyn's recipes are tuned to be just sweet and savory enough, while being high protein, to keep your kid coming back for more. As a side note observation irrelevant to this book, I find my that my kid has all her teeth intact at 6 years old while her peers with a low protein high carb lifestyle has reached or almost reached their double digit lost teeth at the same age, so it may not mean anything, but I think it's a difference I can observe with my kid against her peers.You'll be happy to have this book--Carolyn delivers her best recipes with her heart and the book can only contain so much of it. Be sure to check out her recipes online that's outside of this cookbook because her commitment to people's journey to health shows with the amount of effort she has put forth into the high protein low carb community with crafting her recipes to make them healthy and guiltless.

This has us excited to cook this year. Wife and I tabbed lots of pages for recipes to try and put in yellow stickie notes for the ones to cook this week.My wife bought it and enjoyed some of the philosophy at the beginning. I’ve just dig in and it is one of my 2 main cookbooks this year. Love how it is low carb but pro veggies.At first, felt like it only had 7-8 recipes we’d make. Korean beef and broccoli and Tex mex chicken veggie skillet are in our short list. So good. Chicken chile verde was a surprise and I’ve started experimenting with this style of cooking meat in the sauce from here.But I keep going through it and finding 5-6 more. Will probably make over half the recipes. Photos are very helpful and it turns out close to looking the same.The list of ingredients are easy to read and find. Some of the ingredients in the pictures but not in the list. Doubled the meat for many of these and had fun making it our ownOnly had this a few months. Surprised how much use it got. As you can see. It is so yummy that we have stains in the book, like to triple it (for 2 people to have leftovers) and we’ve modified the spices to work for our own style.

I have been delighted with this cookbook. I had gastric bypass surgery 17 years ago and my protein requirements are high. I've followed a low carb diet for a couple of decades and this book, along with the others by this author have been indispensable in maintaining a low carb way of eating while enjoying meals and not feel like I'm missing anything. I've read some of the lower ratings on this book and it's obvious that some folks have no understanding of what low carb actually means. Yes, various protein sources ( whey, collagen etc) are in some recipes because Carolyn has done the work to find out how to compensate for components of wheat flour to create baked goods on par with high carb versions (IMHO, many of her recipes are better than the carbohydrate laden versions!)

Love love love this cookbook! The introduction is really helpful, with good information on which type products will work best for which type recipe, helpful info on things to stock in your kitchen to help when doing a low carb/ high protein type diet. The author give so much good information that is really well researched and explained about using proteins , and how they effect your body/brain/ and contribute to your health, whether trying to lose weight or just be healthier and have more energy!The recipes themself are amazing! Real ingredients that are mostly already in your pantry, or easily attained at a local grocery store! This book is FULL of really wonderful recipes( not just a few good ones mixed in with recipes you prob won’t make… I will most likely make EVERY recipe pie in this cookbook!!Love love love this cookbook!!

This is the best cookbook on the market right now! I have followed and make Carolyns recipes for a few years now, and they never disappoint. This newest masterpiece is insightful and informative regarding protein intake and importance in daily diets.The cookbook covers all meal types, snakes, treats and more.Recipes are super easy to follow, ingredients are common, but the outcome is Delicious! I have made over 10 different recipes so far and I find myself opening the book each day because we are enjoying each new recipe so much. Honestly, this is not my usual thing, I just am really enjoying this book! Buy it! You won't regret it!

Dieses Buch ist super, die Rezepte toll und die Bilder ansprechend.Ausserdem ist das Konzept der proteinreichen und kohlehydratreduzierten Erklärung gut erklärt.Allerdings ist das Buch auf Englisch, daher sollte man schon gut Englisch verstehen.

Will probably make over half the recipes. Photos are very helpful and it turns out close to looking the same.The list of ingredients are easy to read and find. Some of the ingredients in the pictures but not in the list. Doubled the meat for many of these and had fun making it our ownOnly had this a few months. Surprised how much use it got. As you can see. It is so yummy that we have stains in the book, like to triple it (for 2 people to have leftovers) and we’ve modified the spices to work for our own style.

I have been delighted with this cookbook. I had gastric bypass surgery 17 years ago and my protein requirements are high. I've followed a low carb diet for a couple of decades and this book, along with the others by this author have been indispensable in maintaining a low carb way of eating while enjoying meals and not feel like I'm missing anything. I've read some of the lower ratings on this book and it's obvious that some folks have no understanding of what low carb actually means. Yes, various protein sources ( whey, collagen etc) are in some recipes because Carolyn has done the work to find out how to compensate for components of wheat flour to create baked goods on par with high carb versions (IMHO, many of her recipes are better than the carbohydrate laden versions!)

Love love love this cookbook! The introduction is really helpful, with good information on which type products will work best for which type recipe, helpful info on things to stock in your kitchen to help when doing a low carb/ high protein type diet. The author give so much good information that is really well researched and explained about using proteins , and how they effect your body/brain/ and contribute to your health, whether trying to lose weight or just be healthier and have more energy!The recipes themself are amazing! Real ingredients that are mostly already in your pantry, or easily attained at a local grocery store! This book is FULL of really wonderful recipes( not just a few good ones mixed in with recipes you prob won’t make… I will most likely make EVERY recipe pie in this cookbook!!Love love love this cookbook!!

This cookbook is fantastic! Carolyn is a genius with Keto recipes. These are safe for a diabetic to make!I actually enjoyed just reading thru the book initially. Now I have to get cooking! This is the best cookbook on the market right now! I have followed and make Carolyns recipes for a few years now, and they never disappoint. This newest masterpiece is insightful and informative regarding protein intake and importance in daily diets.The cookbook covers all meal types, snakes, treats and more.Recipes are super easy to follow, ingredients are common, but the outcome is Delicious! I have made over 10 different recipes so far and I find myself opening the book each day because we are enjoying each new recipe so much. Honestly, this is not my usual thing, I just am really enjoying this book! Buy it! You won't regret it!

Dieses Buch ist super, die Rezepte toll und die Bilder ansprechend.Ausserdem ist das Konzept der proteinreichen und kohlehydratreduzierten Erklärung gut erklärt.Allerdings ist das Buch auf Englisch, daher sollte man schon gut Englisch verstehen.

I’ve been looking forward to receiving this since it went on presale and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I have all of Carolyn’s books and all of them are beautifully written with easy to follow recipes and fantastic tasting dishes. Very informative regarding prioritising protein and I’m excited to create a few dishes this week. Thank you Carolyn for all you do, you really have outdone yourself with this one!
