Awesome! This book is so well thought out and put together. Its clear and actually gives examples that you can follow. I love how she included some of her work as well which is always so beautiful and inspiring! I felt like giving up and this book reminded me that its a process and that im harder on myself then I need be. Just a little clear direction is often all we need to get back on track! Thanks Pypah! <3

I've ordered over 30 art teaching books. This one is amazing! The instruction, examples, process is great. I recommend this for anyone who like me wants to draw but is missing something. I love it! I really enjoy this as a book. The graphics are real, this gives the student the ability to go slowly, to pay close attention to develope a style of their own. It's like having a personal art teacher. I carry it everywhere.

...and I own, and have read a TON of these books (about how to draw faces or facial features). Some are better than others, but drawing faces is my main passion, so I try to read all I can on facial or portrait drawing.THIS is the one you should buy, whether you're a beginner, or just want some more face inspiration!It has very clear directions, giving you all of the tools you need to begin to practice drawing faces. Starting with a pencil and learning shading this way was the best thing I did to get some skills down before jumping into any kind of color...at the time I didn't know if it was right, I was a beginner making stabs in the dark (still am)!

I’d give this more stars if I could! It’s just what I’ve been looking for! It’s easy to follow, got loads of great examples and learning opportunities. I love how it includes styles for a variety of ethnicities too! At last a book that encourages self discovery, enabling you to develop your own style. I LOVE it!

Great book lots of instructions for various body parts of face not only drawing but shading to get right look.Terrific book for starters and long term sketchers.Reminders of how to plus beginner instructions so book for everyone.

This book covers a wide range of subject matter thoroughly and makes the complicated simple to understand. Great for those who are serious beginners. The book is made of good quality paper and graphics are well done.

I’m brand new to portraits and this book breaks everything down beautifully. I’m already getting better at it just from learning the basic shapes. Plus, the author’s style is BEAUTIFUL. Highly recommend, no complaints.

THIS WAS SO HELPFUL! I found the instructions and drawing info to be so helpful! Plus there was color theory in there, and if ur an artist, you know that’s difficult to understand lol.

Well, what can I say? I love this book! The tutorials are excellent, with clear instructions. The illustrations are beautiful, with a diverse range of faces to try alongside the instructions. A really beautiful book, definitely my go to when drawing portraits now.
More than expected.
It's excellent for what it does, takes on all the aspects of a face and hair. It launches the subject of study into all the main points. Faces, this is a strong start point. I'll use this book time and time again.
