5.0 out of 5 stars What a Solution for Yoga and Pilates
Frustration of internet searches turning up contestants in the game of search engine nonsense was lifted and resolved. (And I means years!) The sense of relief was tremendous. Luckily, I practice Pilates and, thus, found this book. It should be labeled for yoga, too. The cues! I love them. The concise list of muscles per issue, so solution oriented. Worth every penny. When I saw no letters after author’s name, I hesitated. Definitely Good Will Hunting. Her research sources are impeccably referenced.
5.0 out of 5 stars All Pilates Teachers/Trainers should own this book.
EVERY Pilates teacher should own this book. Very detailed and well written as well as the animated examples are wonderful. It is a teachers book that you will always need. One of the best Pilates books I have ever bought. I own it on both my Kindle as well as paperback. I've been teaching for a long time and I love how detailed this book is.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great reference!
This book is written for people who have movement experience, either through dancing or fitness teaching. It's very informative and has lots of illustrations covering movements from the super simplistic to the more complex.
5.0 out of 5 stars very helpful
I love this book. I've read a lot of books on pilates, but this is the most helpful book on correcting issues. The other books I've read sometimes will tell you where there is an imbalance or a postural fault, but does very little on informing you how to correct those issues. This book not only tells you how to correct issues, but does so very extensively.A must for pilates teachers and highly recommended for students that want to learn particular excercises to help themselves.
5.0 out of 5 stars Technical book for instructors
I am a yoga/pilates instructor and personal trainer and this book really helps when you get a client with special issues. If you are an instructor or body worker of any kind this is a really good reference book for form and application of different exercises and pilates moves that can be used in a therapeutic manner. It is detailed and has fairly good illustrations to supplement the text.
5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST for Pilates teachers!
If you teach Pilates, this book is simply a must-read. Very detailed, in-depth, technical and thorough, it will make you a better teacher!
5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely comprehensive
Here is a very useful book. The author imparts so much information on which exercises can be done and what to be aware of. It is a complete reference book for Pilates instructors who have clients with medical conditions or who are recovering from surgery.Recommended!

I have really been enjoying this book so far. I don't recommend it if you don't already have some understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as Pilates, but if you do, this is a really nice review of what you can offer clients with various conditions.
Love this book
A really good book, detailed injuries, movements and tips of exercises for specific faults. It's a tool for those one who are studying or delving into the world of pilates. Arrived in time in perfect conditions.
Brilliant reference
Excellent for Pilates tutors who have done level three exercise referral. I was the only non PT/gym body on the course so felt a bit left out and uncertain on what exercises I could safely use. It’s also an excellent guide for the general tutor as the ‘walking wounded’ like to hobble into Pilates sessions as it’s good for you. ;) it is written by a trained medical professional so it’s not light reading and you will need your dictionary with you.
Helpful remedial teaching tool
I bought this several years ago while I was still training. It took a bit of getting use to and as a student I sometimes found it difficult to follow.I have now been teaching six years and I still refer to this book as a very helpful reference guide.
Perfect!
Great book, a really interesting read.
very detailed
A useful book, an awful lot of information and some stuff is randomly placed throughout that doesn't quite fit in the section it appears. However I find the exercises are laid out well with clear instruction that are easy to impart.
