We had a Very Hungry Caterpillar birthday party when our son turned two. I bought this book and some others so that there would be fun books to use as decor and also be available for some of the older kids that were coming to the party.It is a beautiful book and has a lot of interesting information. I assumed it would go on the shelf untilOur two year old got a little older, but he really enjoys the colorful pages and for us to read to him. It is already one of his favorite books! We enjoy it because there is a lot of interesting information, some of which I am learning about for the first time!

Love this. We added a page a day from this book and word a day from a '1st dictionary' to our one hour a day hour home summer school. There's enough pictures, brief descriptions and varied info to learn but not to boring for a six year old so it's fun to do.

This book has everything. It is detailed and the illustrations are beautiful. I originally bought this as a gift for a 1 year old beginning to talk. After reading through it, I am planning to gift it to a 3 year old. I assumed it would just have photos and what they are for speech development. It however has lots of pictures with detailed explanations of everything from earthquakes to the Roman Empire. I am ver impressed with the quality and explanations.

My daughter is 2 and she absolutely loves this book and she has already learned so much!!!! Honestly this is one of the top 10 books we have for her and she has close to 100 books!

A mí me encanta este libro. Es interesante y bonito, pero creo que algunos conceptos como la religión y los imperios son difíciles de entender para mi hijo de 4 años, así que no le ha interesado mucho. Lo intentaremos de nuevo más tarde.

Great content and illustrations
This is an absolutely fantastic encyclopedia! I bought it for my 2-year old son, and we both love it! I love the number of topics it covers, it provides me with a lot of subjects to discuss. We start we what the books offers and then can even search for more info if my son gets really interested in a topic.
