A detailed read into the many areas of the Marvel world(s); from the city of Manhattan to other universes and planes of existence, this book is a definite must have/read for any Marvel fan and/or the knowledge seeking connoisseur (i.e. nerd). Essentially, if you're a fan of Marvel and want to vastly expand your knowledge of this wonderful universe(s), this book is for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great look into the marvel world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nicely Crafted, Dynamic, Plenty of Illustrations ...

M.P.L. · December 8, 2021

This oversized, eye-grabbing book is a homerun for lovers of the Marvel comics. The drawings/illustrations expound on the comics' geography. And, undoubtedly, the text is as expansive and comprehensive as possible (while remaining within the confines of a single, manageable volume). In fact, the massive amount of information presented here is fairly monumental. The information is cleanly divided into well crafted chapters. And, while it is a small touch, if you ever forget where you left off, just look at the top of page and there is an indicator at the top of every page (centered). This is great because it acknowledges that invested readers will not be able to complete this exploration in a single sitting.Everything is reproduced in authentic colors and everything is carefully broken up visually to prevent reader fatigue. In this sense, the book itself is very dynamic and designed to move quickly. This is impressive. The children had a great time learning from this. A very cool gift for the kids!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for any Marvel fan

M. · December 30, 2021

My 10 year old is super into the Marvel universe right now, so when I came across this book I just had to grab it for him. And I have to say that not only has he been enjoying it, but I have as well! The name and description is a bit misleading, it gives the impression that this is more of a map and picture book sort of thing. But there’s more text than anything. Which I honestly prefer as I would rather my son read than look at maps and photos. Its actually quite fun reading material for the diehard Marvel fan. It gives detailed insight into the neighborhoods and areas that your favorite Marvel characters call home. The book is well made and study, and a fun read for any Marvel fan!
