This was great many many years ago when it first came out, and now even better with the teacher accompaniments! This is a piano treasure for younger students, beginners (primer, early elementary to elementary level) My students have all loved The Shark the best! Reminds them of the Jaws Theme Song.

This book is full of imaginative songs that students love. From jazz to movie sound track , these are pieces that are showy, therefore making them fun to practice.

Great book with so many fun pieces. My students absolutely love this book, so I always keep one on hand for a student who needs a fun book and maybe a bit of motivation. You just can't go wrong with Catherine Rollin.
3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing design takes away from performance
I have a piano student who loves the Bean Bag Zoo series so I got this collection for her as a gift. I was excited that all of the pieces had a duet attached as the sheet music pieces don't all have that feature. Unfortunately, the way the publisher put the book together was to spread each piece over 3 or more pages so we are constantly turning pages. This is not useful at all. What a shame as I love these pieces. A better solution would have been to have a separate teacher-duet book attached and leave the student pieces with the original layout of over 2 pages.

A wonderful complementary book to early/elementary piano books. My child loved it because the pieces are playful- a reprieve from the seriousness of the music pieces learned in class. "IT IS FUN MUSIC!", according to my child.
