Jessica Roux is a Nashville-based freelance illustrator, gardener, and plant and animal enthusiast. She loves exploring in her own backyard and being surrounded by an abundance of nature. This is a beautifully illustrated deck that is beginner friendly. It's one if my favorite decks for daily use. A seasoned reader can feel good about introducing Tarot to someone a bit shy about having a reading. Some people are scared or nervous so never get a chance to see the benefits havinga reading. They've seen too many movies where Tarot cards are "evil". The cards are sturdy, as well.

Had no idea this beautiful deck comes in a big sturdy box with an awesome book, guidebook with resources. Deck is so colourful and detailed in the artwork, the descriptions are insightful. Barbara Moore is someone I trust with anything tarot. The readings I have done so far have been intuitive, this deck is another great compass for any tarot enthusiasts.

This is a really beautiful deck. These are well-illustrated cards and book and the field guide is really great as it has simpler but also insightful writing. It is a good deck for anyone at any stage. My main complaint is that while the book is great, the deck is really papery and thin. In the many deck I have this is the thinnest. I'm afraid I will damage this deck fairly soon even though it is linen-coated. That leaves you with the odd situation of having to replace the deck with its large well-made book fairly soon. I'd love it if Llewelyn released a thicker version and add the cost for that to the price. It is a really good-looking deck though with great writing and very good artwork.

Barbara Moore never disappoints! Her Tarot knowledge is vast, and comprehensive, and her explanations are articulate and entertaining. Another of her decks, "The Steampunk Tarot" is one of my go-to decks as a professional reader. In fact, I have two. A day after receiving this one, I ordered another. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned user looking for a different angle or to expand your comprehension of this incredible tool, you will find it useful. The Companion Book that comes with the deck is substantial, not a mere pamphlet. This is a treasure that respects the traditional meanings of the cards while offering fresh perspectives and ideas for consideration.

TL;DR: the linen cardstock is a dream to shuffle, the artwork feels like it came straight out of a storybook, and the guidebook is informative and more than just basic keywords.A lot in this deck feels like a normal reinterpretation of the RWS, but there are so many little elements that make it genuinely unique like the nod to Marseille, the intention to explore good fortune, and the recurring animal symbolism. The guidebook is written for brand-new beginners, but sometimes includes hints to astrology and qabalah that make it the perfect deck to gain some depth without getting overwhelmed by the esoteric side of tarot.This might be one of the best 'workhorse' decks out there. I love Simone Benoit's sass, and I love that the author calls A.E. Waite 'Uncle Arthur'.

Wow, Barbara Moore and Llewelyn bring us a gorgeous new deck! The artwork is beautiful with rich colors, the linen finish is big plus for the card stock. If you have the Bee Tarot or Witch’s Garden this is the same finish as those, which I absolutely love. They don’t stick together and super easy to shuffle. The guidebook is in color and just amazing. Don’t hesitate to get it, you won’t be disappointed.

So I was on a fence about getting this deck for a few months. From all the Youtube reviews I watched, the art looked too simple or primitive or something. But I went ahead and ordered it and OMG, was I mistaken. I guess all the video reviews did not do the art any justice. The images are so detailed and so alive and most importantly, this deck really speaks to me. For the first time ever the Temperance card makes sense to me. Maybe it is because it has chakras shown on the angel’s body. Long story short, this is a very accurate deck. With the exception of a couple of cards, the deck resonates with me! 😊

Great Quality Guidebook and Cards
The Guidebook in itself is outstanding!! Extremely high quality and includes great info and interpretations and the cards are beautiful!
Great deck but expensive!
I resisted buying this deck initially, because of the high price compared to other mass market decks available. However I'm really pleased to have it. The illustrations are beautiful. The book is good, although I'm disappointed by the lack of info on the court cards, given that these are notoriously hard to interpret, and yet they have far less info than any other cards... Also the card stock is not great and has started to chip with only a few light uses. Despite this, the deck reads really well and is a pleasure to work with. I do think it is expensive for mass market though, especially considering the delicate cards stock.

Es muy bello este Tarot, es una sutil mezcla entre Marsella (Arcanos Mayores)y Rider (Arcanos Menores). El libro que lo acompaña vale muchísimo la pena. Llegó bien; sin embargo, creo que me tocó un ejemplar usado, pues las cartas estaban revueltas y no en orden, como generalmente sucede con los mazos nuevos. Las cartas son algo delgadas, hay que tratarlas con cuidado.
