I got this as a gift for my husband and it was possibly the best gift I’ve gotten him yet. He grew up in foster care and was adopted by a wonderful family when he was 8. During his time in foster care however, this little Peter Pan picture book was the one item he had that he kept with him and that kept him going through the hard times. He’s told me several times about this book and how much it meant to him but that he lost track of it eventually. I decided to try and find it for him and was pleasantly surprised that it was so each to find and so cheap. It arrived very quickly (the day after I placed the order). He asked what the package was and I told him it was for him and to go ahead and open it. He opened it and immediately broke down into tears. He gave me a huge hug and thanked me over and over. I told him that I knew how much it meant to him as a kid and that maybe it will mean that much to one of our foster kids some day. So thank you for shipping a product that brought so much joy and security to my husband when he was just a scared and lonely child.

I have been searching high and low for these classic Disney die-cut cover books. I love the quality of the ends and pages, and the hard covers. The stories stick very closely to the Disney movies of the same names, but get to the point of the stories a bit quicker. Even some of the dialogue is identical. But what I love most about these books are the extremely vibrant colors. Each page is as colorful as the next and they really keep my preschooler's attention. The print is a good size too, so she is starting to try and read along with me. Additionally, I have noticed that she seems hesitant about watching a movie she hasn't seen before, but if we read the book first, she wants to watch the movie also. These books have helped introduce her to many classics she might not have otherwise seen. They are great for bedtime, in the car, at Grandma's house, anywhere! I just wish they were easier to find, and a little less expensive. Overall, I would totally recommend Disney Classic Die-Cut books to anyone!

One day I found out from our 3 adult sons, that I had never shared Peter Pan with them as children. To have some fun making up for this mistake, I bought 3 copies of Peter Pan story boook and gave them to the boys for Christmas. We had a good laugh over this and I was elighted to find copies of the story so handy.

This book arrived very quickly, in brand new condition, sold by Bolo. I only paid $2.21 for it (no postage) and it looks as though it's never been touched. I'm so very happy with this purchase! My granddaughter, whose 5th birthday is in a few days, will love receiving the book. We've often taken it out from the library, as well as the DVD of the Disney cartoon, and she can't get enough of Peter Pan. Her favorite character is Peter Pan; she also likes the crocodile with his tick-tick-ticking. The story is printed in a smaller font than most Little Golden Books because the story is somewhat longer than most of their books. But I'm extremely happy with this purchase!

I had a Peter Pan book from my childhood that my son LOVED but was stolen with some other items in a backpack from my car. I was not successfully in finding the same version on Bolo so bought this one as a replacement. While it is pretty long for a bedtime story, it captures the movie almost exactly and remains one of his favorite stories. The illustrations are fantastic and fun to review with a little one. Overall, good purchase as Peter Pan is always appealing for little boys, and having this one is a good encouragement to read a book over watching a movie.
Expensive, out-dated, too wordy
The book seems out dated, it's new but already looks old when arrived. If you (or your children) like the classic picture version then this might be ok for you. It's too lengthy for children under the age of 6. Price wise, seems expensive, not worth it.

Colleziono libri illustrati - Disney in special modo - e questi Golden books sono davvero una chicca. Le illustrazioni sono bellissime e ripercorrono la storia del cartone, ma penso siano perfette anche per genitori che vogliano iniziare all'inglese in modo "simpatico" i propri figli. Sono rimasta soddisfatta e lo consiglio sia a chi, come me, apprezza le illustrazioni, sia, come già detto, per un genitore.
