The Tilda books are laid out so nicely, with really cute items. Only problem is, it's impossible to find the kits like her doll face-painting kit which isn't sold in the USA. I finally ordered the catalog from Panduro Hobby, since it's coming from the UK it took about a month. Wasn't sure if my request went through because of the "county" and "city" and being not USA it fills out these fields differently, but it finally got here. So I guess I'm saying great book, great ideas and love the patterns included, but you may need to look elsewhere for the fabric or paint kits to duplicate the look on your own.

I love this authors books! After receiving my first one I immediately ordered the rest of them available on Bolo. The pattern instructions are easy to follow for someone with moderate sewing skills. The pattern pieces are nested so you have to make multiple copies of the same page to use for pattern pieces.

Made one doll, each picture shown here are just different costumes. I made the wings so they can be removed. And added a Halloween costume.

I purchased this book because I love the designs and overall projects in her books, and although it looked so appealing I felt that this book and as with all of her books has the same similar projects with just another a slightly different format.

Pretty Ideas - You'll Want it to be Summer All Year Long
As always, The Tilda dolls are gorgeous and this book is no exception. The garden ideas are very cute; a gorgeous little mouse and an angel garland; the angels pictured on the front cover in coordinating dungarees are adorable.Again, simply by changing the colour scheme of the fabrics, these projects can be adapted to suit any season.The actual sized patterns are perfect for those crafters without access to a photocopier that can enlarge images or a printer/scanner.I want to be Tonne Finnanger when I grow up !!
