My kids (3 & 6) LOVE this book, and as cat owners we immediately recognized that this author KNOWS cats. The story is incredibly charming and the illustrations are so expressive for Sid.We have a copy at home and at my parents' house. Kids often ask for this story at bedtime.

I read this book years ago and tried to find it. I was happy to find it on Bolo! This book is especially fun for families that love cats. I bought it for my book collection so when my grandkids we have some really good books to explore. I rated the difficulty level advanced because I was thinking of it more as a read-aloud book rather than something they would read to themselves at this point.

My elderly parents have a "six dinner sid" who visits them every night. My mother has dementia, so I bought this book to read to her about "her" cat outside. The story is precious and the illustrations are really cute. I recommend this book.

I loved this book mostly because we had our own Six Dinner Sid in our neighborhood. We tied a note around his neck to try to track whose house(s) he’d been hanging out in. Now my sister has a Six Dinner Sid who stops by her house for a quick bit of chicken and a nap before moving on to someone else’s house. This copy is going to her.

This was a book I read as a child, I absolutely loved it. I still have my old copy.Now, any time I have a baby shower to attend and they ask for a book instead of a card, this is the one I get.It's always a big hit. You can't go wrong with a story about a cat!

Fabulous story
This is my three children, who are now all grown up, favourite childhood book.I have purchased this for my Grandson for Christmas to carry on the tradition of reading this wonderful story.
Lovely story but overpriced for South Africa
