Title: A Lifesaver for Big Feelings! As a parent of a 3-year-old, I’m always on the lookout for books that help my child understand and express emotions—and this book has completely exceeded my expectations. My daughter is absolutely obsessed with it! Not only does it talk about handling big feelings in a way that makes sense to little ones, but it also includes a song that she has memorized and now sings when she’s upset or overwhelmed. That simple melody has become her go-to way to pause, take a deep breath, and calm down. I’ve seen her use it at home, at the park, even during a tantrum. It’s like the book gave her a tool to understand herself better—and at 3 years old, that’s no small thing. The illustrations are engaging, the message is gentle and empowering, and the repetition helps reinforce the message without being preachy. It’s become a daily read in our house, and I can’t recommend it enough for any parent trying to raise emotionally aware little humans.

I adore this book! It does a great job of talking about emotions. It has a little song that is sung several times throughout the book. Does a great job of introducing and explaining emotions and a cute story way. The illustrations are great. My one-year-old is struggling with emotional regulation, and this was a great addition to our library.

This children's book has been a game-changer for my son, who is on the autism spectrum. It's not just entertaining it’s deeply insightful. The way it blends knowledge with fun made reading together a joyful and meaningful experience. We’ve explored many books, but this one sparked something special. It’s officially earned a spot as our new favorite, and I’m so grateful for the impact it’s had.

It has kid tips, interaction suggestions and parent tips at the end. Highly recommend!!! We have utilized for several ages. The only thing I wish was that it came in a board book for durability.

4.0 out of 5 stars Toddler loves, mama doesn’t

My two year old loves this book and repeats phrases from it like “how do I calm my body down” and “take a big belly breathe”. It has helped a lot with tantrums. Unfortunately there are a few phrases that I didn’t want her learning or repeating, like saying “I CANT DO IT”. Which is something she never said before, she use to say “I need help”. There are just a lot of can’t and don’t words that are counterintuitive to toddlers because they don’t understand. For that reason I wouldn’t buy this book, but again, my toddler loves it.
