My kids love Mario, who wouldn’t. What would you love more? An avid 6yo reader that loves the colorful pages and the story keeps them reading from cover to cover. My kiddo put down the controller, willingly, and was smitten with the story. I think I’m buying the rest already. Great book for your little reader who loves Mario.

I’m a prek-12 certified teacher and bought this for my son. Great reader nice repetition, great use of pictures to help build context but NOT give meaning away. Even though it’s listed for children who are at a level 3 this is great to develop pre literacy skills as well. It basically explains how you play Mario kart but includes all of the characters and is in story format. My Mario loving almost five year old son LOVES it, we read it almost every night.

The writing was a little elementary, but if you put yourselves in the shoes of the Super Mario universe; I'd argue that we're lucky this is in a language we can reproduce while reading to our children.

Amazing read with your kids - mine is 5 years old. Really kept my kid engaged, and that's not easily done with any other book; prob has to do with the fact he plays mario on his switch.
