I'm about half way through reading this, it is giving Breakfast Club mixed with Pretty Little Liars vibes! So good! The characters are so suspicious but you also can't help but root for each one

One of us is lying is an amazing book. I am always on the edge of my seat dying to find out what happens next. It's a story of 4 high school students who unexpectedly have to team up after all being suspects in a peers murder. Lots of false accusations and rumors arise creating chaos in the students lives some of who are even falsely charged with the murder

One Of Us Is Lying is a great book that I really enjoyed reading. I loved the point of views from all of the people involved in the investigation. Another thing about the book that I really enjoyed was the imagery ands detail that the author used any chance she got. This aspect of the book really made me feel what the characters were feeling and helped me to understand the book more. The book has a great plot and very unexpected plot twists that come with it. One thing I will say I would improve is that it got a little dead at some points for me. At points where there were no major events happening the book felt a little draggy for me but after that when it go to those great parts again the book was like a rollercoaster and I would 100% recommend it to other readers.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. But, those who do remember the past must, at times, recall it. Beginning with World War II's D-Day, ONE of US is not a new tale. It is, however, told with a very new twist. Part history lesson and part mystery; it is throughout a story that holds your attention as it points into the future. In short, this is a great book (especially if you've never been to France!).

One afternoon five high school students receive after school detention. None of the 5 students were exactly friends; one was a jock, another a princess, another was brainy and another was the troubled student who was frequently on suspension or probation. The fifth student was the school gossip. They knew of one another, they knew each others reputations (fair or not). Oddly, they were each in trouble for the same violation - caught having their cell phone on them during school hours. Each claims that the phone in their backpack does not belong to him or her. Together they determine that someone must be pranking them. But who? And Why? “Unless one of us is lying. Which is always a possibility.”Before detention is over, one of the students will be dead and the four remaining students will be murder suspects. Suddenly these four students who weren’t exactly friends are drawn together as they each proclaim his or her innocence. "Are we friends, or just a couple of people without better options?” Is one of them lying? If so, who? As the police investigation goes nowhere the four students join up in a desperate attempt to prove their innocence. But, if none of them did it then, who? They can’t all be innocent… can they? “I guess we're almost friends now, or as friendly as you can get when you're not one hundred percent sure the other person isn't framing you for murder.”McManus’ characters are very realistic as she draws on the stereotypic high school students that we have all known. McManus herself describes the book as “the breakfast club with a criminal twist”. One Of Us Is Lying is a young adult book and will be enjoyed by readers of all ages. A fun, fast read that you won't want to put down. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved reading this book! So interesting and im on the edge of my seat the entire time. The book is so good and finished pretty quick. The plot is great and the characters development is amazing. We go through each one of the characters life and background to see who killed the student. Think about if Pretty Little Liars and Breakfast Club had a baby. Just a amazing Chefs kiss. I even love how all the characters are being pinned differently and now you really see there true self. The ending is crazy definitely recommend to people who like thrillers/murder mystery!
