This is a great series about a boy named Buzz and his pet fly, Fly Guy. In this book Buzz takes Fly Guy to school, and the drama unfolds in the lunchroom, which is definitely paradise for Fly Guy.Fly Guy's fondness for garbage and any kind of rotting slop really tickles kids' sense of humor. And the story has a fun conflict, with a sweet lunch lady who is kind to Fly Guy and a mean lunch lady who isn't. The happy ending is heartwarming.The drawings are colorful and cute. Even hairy, bug-eyed Fly Guy manages to be appealing.Little boys especially love Fly Guy. And the reading level is just right for beginning readers.

My daughter is a rising 1st grader and lovesss this series! There are some words that are a little harder for her to sound out, but it's a great read. She read it in 2.5 days (15 minutes a day). She giggled through it and I have purchased two more books in this series so far.

Our 2nd graders favorite book! The book has a great story, incredible illustrations, and can be read by kids in different levels of reading skills. So far, the Fly Guy books are a hit across the board for kids.

I purchased 2 "fly guy" books for my grandchildren.There are several books and my boys love them. They think talking about a fly is the funniest thing. I would say get these,at least 1, and see how the children react.

英語嫌いになってしまった息子になんとか興味をもってもらいたいと試行錯誤しているときに、子供から読んでみたい！と言われ、私的には気持ち悪い絵もあり悩みましたが、読みたいなら、と購入。これが正解でした。簡単な英文で絵も手伝い読み聞かせでも内容把握は出来ていて、何度も読むうちに、「それ、どういう意味？」と聞いてくるまでに。少年がハエをペットにしてストーリーが進んでいるのですが、あり得ないシチュエーションとリアルを上手く描いていて、クスッと笑えるストーリーが子どもの興味を刺激するようです。
