Since im homeschooling her this year its been a big help. It contains a veriety of different things she needs to know.. For example, rhyming words, color by number, colors, ABCs and 123s. Its a great start to help introduce her to some of these concepts. Theres also a kindergarden section in the back of the book. So we will do that over the summer when the pre-k (4s class) section is done. There is also tests after each section. However i dont go page by page i do jump around but when a section is completed i have take the test. Its been working for her so far she seems to enjoy the book.

I'm a stay at home Dad and taking on the task to educate my youngest . I'm happy to say that this booklet is a great starter . My youngest and I have been working through this book everyday . I have taken on a reviewers idea , which is to use a binder with clear plastic pockets . This has allowed use to use white board eraser pins and am able to continue to reuse the pages out of the booklet . Not only has my youngest enjoyed using the pins but has progressed very well . I really do think that this booklet has what any Pre-K starter needs . I'm very pleased and impressed with my youngest achievements . I would diffidently recommend this well put together booklet for your Pre-K starter . I will look onto Scholastic for more educational booklets.

Nice variety of subjects. Good big letter sizes and simple instructions. Bright colors and fun designs on every page. Easy color-coded pages for subjects. I would buy again.

I love this workbook! We have a very scholastic 3.5 year old and it’s just the right amount of reading an math for her, lots of letter practicing, alphabet, and critical thinking. We jump around through the book but it’s designed to be done in sections, as in cover to cover. I really like how many different types of activities there are: coloring, less and more exploration (addition and subtraction), color by number etc. teaches kids how to follow directions.There are so many different things to do, that it constantly keeps her engaged for long periods of time. She doesn’t want to stop the activity book, which is a great sign. I’m so pleased with the book. Also, there are little ‘end of chapter tests’ which are short and designed to test what was covered in that section.There are some stickers at the end of the book, but as there are over 300 pages, there aren’t nearly enough stickers. They got used up within a few days...because kids love stickers!

This book is awesome!! We originally got this book when my son turned 3 and it became clear he wasn't quite ready for it- he didn't have the patience for all the tracing. I waited a while and tried again, and now he loves it! He's almost 4 now and he can write his name, identify all his letters and numbers, and his writing is getting better every day. I feel like he will be more than prepared for starting school next year (his birthday is in October, so he's past the cutoff for starting this year.) I definitely plan on getting my daughter her own copy of this workbook when she's old enough.

Awesome book for PreK and Kindergarten. I mistakenly purchased this PreK book although my twins are in kindergarten. They love this book! And with the 300 plus pages it keeps them busy! Thanks Scholastic! 👍👍👍

One of the better workbooks I've seen. This book has everything, including little review sections and fun certificates of completion. I purchased one for my son, and now for my niece. This is more than just letters and numbers. There is critical thinking, cut and paste, handwriting (through mazes and other activities) and so much more. The pictures are engaging and colorful, and it progresses as you continue through it. We will be purchasing more of these as my other kids get older.
Could make it better by improving the quality

Great for my homeschooling extras
This product was as described, and although there was a delay with the shipping, the customer service and attention to the situation was grade A. I will not hesitate to buy additional homeschooling supplies from this seller. Thank you for your excellent service. As for the book. it has great colour and learning pages that will engage my pre-schooler's mind.

もうすぐ４才の子供と毎朝２ページづつやってますこのワークブックが届いた時には、電話帳並みの厚さにびっくり。半年ほど気後れして手をつけてませんでしたが、やり始めるととても素晴らしい教材だとわかりました。「幼児用のワークブックは、親が読んで子供はその指示に従って作業を行うもの」とこれまで思っていましたが、間違っていたと気付かされました。作業も大事ですが、一番大事なのは本人が問題を読み取る力を養うことです。この本に記載されているように、問題を読み取る能力が将来の学業を成功へ導くという考えが、このワークブックをとても面白いものにしてくれました。各章ごとに、親へのメッセージが書かれていて、どのように勉強を進めるのか、普段の生活から読み書き計算を実体験できるのかがとても勉強になりました。用語の勉強にもなります。子供は難しい単語が出てきても、フォニクス読みで読んで、意味を英英辞典で調べて読み進めています。はじめはよくわかってなくても、繰り返すうちにどんどん身に付きます。日本人の３歳の子供にもちょうど良い内容です。とってもバラエティに富んでいて面白いです
