I read this book to my now-grown sons so many times it eventually fell apart!I just bought for my step-granddaughter and I can't wait for her to love it as much as my sons did!

Eric Carle is my favorite children’s author as his books always offer a sensory component to a great story! Is this one the very quiet cricket finds his voice at the end of the story. I’ve witnessed two generations of kids enjoy it!

My children love the chirping sound of the cricket and the repetitions to improve sentence building. Highly recommend it.
