Whew. This book has enough players in it to keep you going from page to page! An exceptional read, start to finish.

I waited two weeks to read this and then finished it in one sitting. Not quite as good as the second book, but a fun finale. (I hope. We really don't need the 4th that it seemed to set up for).I got a little tired of Jane passing out, but I understood it was trying to show her humanity. As with the others, I really liked the character development. Fun beach read.

Love these books! Fast,exciting, well plotted with wonderful twists that keeps you on your toes. The short chapters, (a Patterson trademark) rather then being a distraction keep me turning the page til bleary eyed at the end!

I could not stop reading.....brilliant, suspenseful and you never knew what was going to happen next. Now I need to find my next read and hope it's as good as this was!

Jane is good lawyer she keeps things lively. I don't want to give it away but I did find myself getting emotional towards the end of the story. The whole intriguing story was fantastic. I want the next story with Jane Smith.

It was very difficult to lay the book down. After the initial introduction of the characters involved the story was great.
Good story with a few twists and turns
I know I was not much of a fan of the narrative style in the preceeding two books in the Jane Smith series, but I must have mellowed with time and had no issues with the narrative style of this novel. In fact, it read well with the story unfolding. Jane Effing Smith is back with a vengence, as are Jimmy and Rip, along with some new characters. I enjoyed reading this novel, and had that one-more-chapter drive through most of it. Always a good sign. And a good story line, makes this novel and easy recommendation.

I've read at least 100 of his books and enjoyed almost every one of them. He is a great writer on his own, but also knows how to select and direct partners and make them excel. Keep them coming!
