I have really enjoyed this bible. The smaller size is appropriate to take anywhere, while not being too bulky, but also not hard to read. This also has the red letter, which I enjoy and is a must-have. This lays flat and feels good in the hand as a daily on-the-go bible.I recently started a chronological year plan to read the entire bible cover to cover; something I have truly never done. The plan is something I decided on to better educate myself. The NIV version is easy to read and a preferred translation.I would recommend this to seasoned and knowledgeable Christians for its benefits and those who are just starting out to learn what they believe.As I read through this bible, I am excited for the process but find myself eager to look into study bibles more focused on men. Almost like a men’s bible study to apply it to my life as a husband and father.

It’s one of the best bible’s I own. It’s the perfect size and I don’t leave the house without it! The print is large enough to read without glasses and it’s compact and light. I loved it so much that I bought one for my best friend. It’s a steal for the price and I will purchasing many more!

This Bible is beautiful and easy to read. It contains the old testament and the new testament, and the words of Jesus are in red. It has two, attached ribbon bookmarks! I like this because I can mark where everyone else is and where I am. I am just beginning to read it, and already finding this to be a superior translation. I don't like the King James version, because he had it rewritten to give him more power, the church less power, and the right to divorce, among the many things that he changed in the Bible. The more than a hundred experts, ministers, and scholars who went to Israel, to re-translate the Bible, have give us an authentic gift. I recommend this Bible for those who really want to follow God's authentic word.

I purchased this Bible for my son as an Easter gift. He had a study Bible but it was so big. He loves this one because it's slim and go go with him to church and classes. It's very nice leather and he loves the color. The words said by Jesus are in read and I think that's awesome!
