I’ve read this book through twice. I’ve recommended more times than I can remember. We just purchased more because hubby and I are working through this book in a couples group.Science meets scripture with actionable steps to help take control and win the war over your thoughts. This is a foundational concept that will help any relationship and your spiritual Walker with God. And great for parents to know to help their children learn to manage their mind as well.

This book is excellent. The battle is real. It’s hard. It is constant. This book gives you the tools to fight this battle. To change one’s thought process is the key to living in Christ. It changes our outlook and gives us the ability to change outwardly. Even when I start to feel nervous about walking in a new room, just changing my thoughts from what i’m wearing, how people will see me, or if i’m going to make a mistake and changing those thoughts to God sent me. This book gave me “God-fidence” and I am so thankful for all of the work and efforts Craig Groeschel has put into this book. His authenticity, use of scripture, and vulnerability makes this book relatable, relevant, and gives me the confidence and tools to fight the good fight. Blessings to anyone reading this right now.

This book helped me so much with my negative thinking. It helped me to identify my negative thoughts and learn to reframe them. It is a down to earth approach and a great read. The author is a wonderful writer and very humorous. I sailed through this book and will read it again. If you’re experiencing depression, anxiety and negative thoughts then this is the book for you.

I found this book because of one of Pastor Groeschel’s sermons so I knew it would include scripture which is amazing because most books about neuroplasticity and cognitive behavioral therapy don’t. I have a higher level of reading comprehension than this book calls for but that didn’t stop me from enjoying it or the connections the pastor makes between the human mind and biblical truths. I don’t know why so many of the reviewers were angry that the book contained scripture or stuff about God when the description here says it would, the cover says it would and the author is a pastor.

This book helped me find out the truths that are often hidden or lies about God's eternal love for us. I've come closer to the internal peace I've longed for. Well worth the read and hard to put down. Now I long and search for more of God's truths and direction to internalize

Eu li alguns comentários negativos a cerca da capa, só que foi meio hilário, porque é normal livros serem assim, e isso não quer dizer que capa está descolada, é apenas uma edição capa dura lisa com escrito apenas nas laterais.Particularmente tem um certo charme.Gente, esse livro não é descolado tá!?Achei linda a edição, fiz um plano devocional no youversion que era baseado nesse livro, então sei que deve ser ótimo e vai me ajudar muito a praticar meu inglês!
Challenging!!!
This book will change the way you think about your life. It will also help you to understand the way our brain works so that you can be better equipped to get a new perspective on why we think the way we do. I heartily recommend it. I went through it with a small group of people which resulted in us being open about our struggles and encouraging each other to face up to and change unhelpful ways of thinking and to establish new patterns of helpful thoughts.
Refreshing, challenging, honest
This book is great to read. Thank you Craig for putting so much heart into it and honestly sharing your own struggles. I love the questions at the end of every chapter. Will continue to think about them for a while
