Take another adventure with Jack and Annie as they travel to Thebes, Egypt to find the third of four secrets of greatness for Merlin the Magician. This book was easy to read and would be an appropriate pick for 2nd - 4th grade boys and girls. Full of excitement, adventure, a little bit of danger and even an educational view of Florence Nightingale's work in Egypt it is sure to have your student (and even yourself) flipping the pages to read on!If you are like me, you are probably a fan of The Magic Treehouse series; however, I have not read the other two books that go along with finding Merlin's secret of greatness. Don't let this stop you! The book keeps you updated on what they have already found, what resources they need in order to continue their journey and will still have you on your toes!The plot is easy to follow and the characters are easy to visualize and connect with.One of my favorite Magic Treehouse Adventures yet!

This book is written for 3rd grade kids or older. This book would be loved by all. This series is very enjoyable to read with your child or your child reading to you.

From my 7 year old son who has read all the Magic Tree House Books....So far, this book is really exciting. It's about Jack and Annie going on a quest to find the next secret. So far, it's better than many of the past books because it has a lot of action.

My 7-year-old and I have read every Magic Tree House book together. We enjoyed this one: the characters were entertaining, the setting was well described, and the adventure that leads to the scene pictured on the cover was slightly scary but not too scary. There was also a nice contrast between the aristocratic couple who was touring Egypt--which they absolutely hated--because it was "the thing to do" among people of their class, and Florence Nightingale, who decided to go against "the proper thing to do" and found happiness and left a lasting mark on the world.

Best children's book series. We have read all 52 in paperback and are waiting for the most recent to come out in paperback. Bolo does not always have the best prices for this series but has been helpful in locating numbers not as easily found other places.

This is the best magic tree house I have read. It has Florence nightingale. On a one to ten scale I would choose ten. Out of a one to a hundred I would choose a hundred. I think you get the point. it is the best book ever and if I were you I would start reading it as soon as possible. I wrote this review and I am 7.

I got this book for my nephew for his birthdays as he reads the series. The books came packed well and there was no nicks or defects on them. I love how the hardcover book was only a couple dollars more and that I could make my nephew happy and smile on his birthday!!

Again This series magic tree house brought me to a magical world of Nightingale. I love reading this series, ever since I read the first book to this one!!
