Came in good condition. Prompts seem fun.
The book came in good condition, no writing, scuffs, or pages done in it. I was a little worried seeing other reviews that said their came with pages done but mine looks brand new. I gave this as a gift so I can't speak on whether or not it's fun or therapeutic to do, but the prompts seemed interesting and fun for the most part (some of them were a little gross like paint a page with food stains, smear with dirt, or something like that where I'd personally skip it to keep the book more hygienic or do those prompts last). However, the majority of the prompts seemed creative and artistically destructive (like making a collage out of torn up paper, dotting with ink stains, or poking holes in the pages).I think if you have an artistic streak or just want an excuse to rip up some paper and mess up a "book", this would be a fun activity. Also seems like it'll last for a while, even if you did a prompt each day it would last at least a couple months. Prompts are appropriate for pretty much any age, as long as someone is old enough to be trusted with scissors and paints/colors they could do this book.
Fun, Creative, and Highly Entertaining Journal
It is a fun and entertaining book. I really enjoyed reading it and completing each creative task.It encourages imagination and playful thinking, making it a unique experience compared to regular journals. Each activity is engaging and sometimes silly in a good way.Overall, I highly recommend it for anyone who likes creative and interactive books.

You don't need to be super artistic or creative to use this- it's super fun too!! Just be aware that certain pages (like the one where you document your meal) may cause your book to mold if you smear food on it. Great for getting outside and doing something not on a screen!

I ordered this a few years ago and just now writing the review.. Wow!!! my child is STILL using this book! This is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. She has had so much fun with all the prompts, and having something she can safely destroy as a sensory seeking child. But not only destroying it, she has an impressive fruit and vegetable sticker collection in it she’s been working on for these few years. She still gets excited to add to it.

It’s a super fun and creative activity for pre‑teens. Wreck This Journal lets them be messy, silly, and imaginative, giving them tons of ways to express themselves without any rules. It keeps them entertained and excited to see what comes next.

Have to my 12 year old as a gift and she says it has been her favorite gift. She has taken it everywhere and shown everyone and absolutely loves it! She wants other ones like it for next gift. It is fun and definitely not boring.
Great gift for preteen!
I bought this as a gift for my 9 year old daughter. She has not put it down since I've given it to her (she's even slept with it) She has been so engaged and just loves it. I love that is has pulled out her creative side and away from electronics. I would give this 10 stars if I could. I will be definitely be recommending this book to everyone with pre-teen/teenage children!
Excellent Art Prompt Book
I ordered the "Wreck This Journal: Now In Colour Edition" in order to be able to give me a creative outlet as I love to draw and create.Firstly, I find this product to be excellent value for money; at £14.42 it's excellent value for money especially with how many prompts there are throughout the book.Secondly, I find it suitable for both children and adults alike. And what's better is you can do whatever you like with it and the prompts are there to give you an idea of what you can do. It really gives you full control of how you want to express your creativity whilst giving you a prompt to give you an idea of what to do. This is perfect for when you want to be creative but don't know where to start.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this book!
Arrived in poor condition. Book content is great though.
Book content is excellent. It’s a fantastic idea and unusual.However, I bought it as a gift and it arrived with a partially torn sticker on the front cover. One of those type that peel off in tiny little ripped pieces that leave a sticky residue. It’s no good to me for a gift, now I’ll need to go to a shop and try to buy a copy there.I know this book is designed to be wrecked by the owner but I’d like to give it to the recipient in pristine condition.
