"We are big Stuart J. Murphy fans. The MathStart books compliment our hands-on learning experience of making math meaningful. We keep a basket of MathStart books with our math manipulatives. 5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and educational
My five-year-old loves this book. It basically reviews the activities of a girl preparing in the morning to go to school, marking off the number of minutes associated with each activity. It educates about the nature and measurement of time, and about the concept of addition as well. Immediately after being introduced to it, my little one wanted to sketch out her own pretend agenda of activities, complete with time-number lines, for both morning and evening. More fun than a typical educational book because of the physical and visual aspects of the timelines.
5.0 out of 5 stars okay read
I homeschool and this was one of the books that was on our reading list. Not particularly my choice but the kids loved it and it does have some math concepts too.
5.0 out of 5 stars Satisfied.
My 4 yo likes it. Easy to read & understand.

Great math book
4.0 out of 5 stars Good read
Great for young math students who are learning addition. Excellent challenge, articulated and illustrated well. I would appreciate it more if the whole book rhymed; most of it does.
5.0 out of 5 stars Five Stars
Forces kids to think while reading about math. And they don't even realize it.
5.0 out of 5 stars WRONG COVER IS SHOWING FOR THIS GREAT BOOK-See Customer Images For the Correct One ! ! !
This great learning book for starting math, has a GREAT cover, as shown under "Customer Images", and NOT the generic cover Bolo is showing here. It's no wonder that sales of this wonderful book are low, with that cover showing for it ! ! !
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Children's Book
It arrived on time and was in good shape. It is a neat story that centers around a girl getting ready for school. She counts off the minutes it takes her to do each task. This is represented on a time line. It is a great learning tool for kids (math and reading skills are covered.)
