Is it possible that there may be a follow up book 2 to this (I sure would like to know). I have read every Sheldon and Bagshawe book and this one has the worst abrupt ending ever!!! This is not usually his/her style.

I DIDN'T LIKE THE FACT THAT I COULDN'T RELATE TO THE MAIN CHARACTER BECAUSE SHE HAD SUPER-NATURAL POWERS.

Pathetic book
Terrible excuse of a book. Bad stereotyping. Littered with lines such as "He let his eyes roam shamelessly around her ample assets" and this is one of the least offensive. Don't buy the book please.

Captivating story
People may say that Tilly Bagshawe did not do justice to the legacy of Sidney Sheldon, but I beg to differ with them. This was a captivating story of Ella Praeger who lost her parents at a young age. She grows up to avenge their death. The ending was a bit abrupt and a sequel for this novel will really be great. However, when I am reading it, it was extremely captivating.
Interesting
Read a few of Sydney Sheldons books but many years ago. The Phonenix kept me interested-a bit far fetched & disappointing end had hoped there was a sequel to this book. However a good read.
