So I bought this to replace the scarlet 2i2. This thing is great. Especially with the software. Honestly with the wave 3 software the price makes it worth it. The plug-ins you can get are fantastic. I have a somewhat loud environment and I had to use separate software to kinda help with the noise. This does that and more I dont have to waste more resources to do what I need it to do. Plus it brings my sm7b to life. I highly recommend

Une carte son réellement intelligente et pratique (surtout avec le bouton mute).Je viens d’une Komplete Audio 2 (équivalente à une Focusrite Scarlett Solo), et j’ai constaté une légère baisse de qualité audio, aussi bien au niveau du micro que du casque. Cela dit, cette perte est largement compensée par les nombreuses fonctionnalités proposées.Attention toutefois : les réglages par défaut sont loin d’être optimaux. Il est nécessaire de tout configurer manuellement dans le logiciel Elgato pour obtenir un bon rendu.Par exemple, avec un Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X, il faut penser à désactiver le mode haute impédance.Enfin, les traitements matérielles du micro sur la carte son ont leurs limites : elles ne remplacent pas un véritable traitement logiciel. Sur ce point, la promesse est donc un peu exagérée.

Just get the first Wave XLR for half the price, it literally has nothing new improved. The DAC/AMP is really bad aswell and actually it's worse than the original because the onboard chip overheats and sometimes it just doesn't even work then an hour later it randomly works.

Hace poco recibí el Wave XLR Mk2, y con esto finalmente completé el kit junto al Wave DX. Antes estaba usando la Scarlett Solo 3ra generación, que me funcionó bien, pero con este micrófono sentía que tenía que subir demasiado la ganancia para lograr un buen nivel.Por ahora seguiré usando la Scarlett para alimentar mis monitores Behringer MS40, pero la idea es que el Wave XLR se encargue totalmente del micrófono. La combinación con el Wave DX promete bastante, sobre todo por el control de ganancia y las opciones que ofrece el software.Apenas estoy empezando a probarlo, pero todo apunta a que con esta nueva interfaz voy a poder lograr resultados muy interesantes en mis grabaciones
Very Intuitive
As my first audio interface ever, this thing is ridiculously easy to setup and use. Very intuitive and the software is good as well. If I had to complain about one thing it would be that sometimes upon restarting my PC, the software wont automatically detect the interface and will require me unplug and replug. This only happens 50% of the time, so I'm assuming it's just an early bug that will be ironed out soon.
