Having had an opportunity to review other electric nail files, this model from HOMEASY is simply leaps and bounds ahead of them, looking and feeling very much like a device you would find in a professional nail salon.It's a real powerhouse while remaining extremely quiet, lightweight and vibration free at the same time, which makes it an absolute joy to use.The main unit has a clean, white gloss finish and the very clear blue/green readout the screen gives you compliments the overall look of the device nicely.While the power can go all the way up to 40, nobody in our house got anywhere close to that number and I personally rarely used it above 5 or 6 for what I needed to do.In use it was great, with the little wand being much easier to hold and manoeuvre having the power source separate and connected by the coiled cable.The decent selection of different little accessory heads are all easy to pop on and off, with a twist lock mechanism ensuring they stay in place with a positive click so you know you're good to go.The plastic case for these accessories is a complete nightmare to open though and you’ll be breaking finger nails and cursing each time you try so my advice is to ditch this little case at the earliest opportunity.That was the only thing I disliked, although the poor accessory case doesn’t justify me dropping a star for a unit that all the family really enjoyed using.Costing under £26.00 when reviewed (with discount) this Electric Nail file is a bit of a bargain… I’m just hoping the motor and battery last as it’s going to see a lot of use in this house.Change the little accessory case and it’s the perfect little package.

💅 I was lucky enough to pick this up and review it as part of the Bolo Vine programme :)📖 This is a review for the Homeasy Electric Nail File (white version). I’ve used a few nail drills before, some decent and some that sounded like a jet engine, so I was curious how this one would compare.⚠️ It’s a rechargeable model with a 3600mAh battery, an LCD screen that shows speed and battery level, and a top speed of 40,000RPM. Comes with a small selection of bits and sanding bands for acrylic, gel or natural nails.📦 What came in the boxThe main control unit, the drill handpiece, charging cable, six drill bits, sanding bands and a little stand for the handpiece. Everything came neatly packed and well protected.What I liked:✅ Feels surprisingly sturdy and looks sleek, not cheap plastic like some I’ve tried✅ The LCD screen is handy for seeing your speed instead of guessing✅ Runs really quietly, no rattling or overheating even after 20 minutes✅ Variable speed control is smooth, perfect for swapping between delicate work and tougher filing✅ Battery lasts ages, I’ve only charged it once so farWhat I didn’t like:❌ The included drill bits are okay but quite basic, you’ll probably want to upgrade them❌ The clip on the back for attaching it to clothing is flimsy, fell off once already❌ The charging cable’s pretty short so you’ll need to sit close to a socket/portThe bottom line:💅 For the price, this is a really solid little drill. Feels professional enough for home use, easy to control and doesn’t sound like it’s about to take off. This is such a smart looking, handy little gadget. I’ve been doing my own nails for a few years now and really detest the preparation part as it’s time consuming and fiddly.I’m not great at following instructions and couldn’t work out how the drill bits fitted onto the end. It turned out I was incorrectly trying to twist the end, not the textured part just below. Once my husband had sussed what I was doing wrong, I was up and running.I was worried about going too far onto my nail, so left a small amount of gel on and used my usual paint on remover. It cut down the time I usually spend on removal massively (by around 3/4).So pleased with it and once I get up the confidence, will give the other bits a go. Highly recommended.

I wanted to give this a few tries before rating it just to make sure that there was no battery issue with recharge or that it broke after a few uses.I’m pleased to say, it has exceeded my expectations. I like to use the UV curing dipping powder but always struggle when soaking it off to get the last remaining bits off fast enough for my patience levels. So, initially, this was my only goal.I have however, begun to use this at every stage just like they would do in the nail shop, and my goodness, the difference in the professional look of my nails at the end. I’m so happy with it.It really helps to get that tapered finish around the edge of the nail.Be warned - it is very powerful so you have to literally skim the nail to achieve the result but after a few goes I got the hang of it.Really impressed and I have kept one of the adapters just for removal as it gets a little bit messy but it’s saved me so much time and made me more likely to embark upon doing a fresh set when most of the time it really seemed like too much effort.Battery so far seems to last as described. All the attachments are perfect.I’m really pleased!

Feels like cheating doing my nails at home because this little gadget makes the whole job way too easy. Spins away like it’s on a mission, but still feels controlled enough that I’m not terrified of mangling a finger. Rechargeable battery lasts quite good time, so no panic halfway through one hand, and it’s light enough to handle without cramping up. Works brilliantly on gels and acrylics, leaving everything smooth and neat without me sweating over it.
