Nice soft DK wool in a good range of colours at a good price. The three 100g balls in the packet should be enough for baby clothes or things like gloves and scarves.I like that it’s got the washing instructions on the label. Handy to keep these in a folder with what you’ve knitted to remember the washing instructions.

This yarn is made of two interlocked fibres wound into a skein. It has a medium weight (thinner than worsted but thicker than sport weight yarn) and feels strong. The Utopia Crafts branded paper belly band gives further details: 100% acrylic, 100g - 300m, machine guidance (washable at 40degrees, do not bleach or iron), recommended knitting needles (4mm or 8UK), lot code (the same for all three which is reassuring), made in Turkey. It also features a barcode and the UK company's postal and email addresses. The three skeins are packed in a transparent plastic press-seal bag. There is a wide selection of colours to choose from. I got the one called Emerald Green which is coded UC1392. It's a deep green. With three skeins you should be able to make three pairs of socks, baby clothes or a chunky scarf.

I ordered this in the colour “blue whale” for my wife and these are her observations: 3 balls of 100g yarn arrived together in a Ziplock plastic bag. The colour is very attractive, a lovely shade of blue. The yarn is acrylic but is very soft to the touch, it is pleasant to work with, feeling good to handle and slipping easily on the needles. No snagging or splitting like cheaper brands. It is a double knitting wool and there is enough to make accessories like gloves or socks or to make some baby clothes. Alternately they can be used with another colour of wool to make an interesting larger garment.

I picked this up for my wife, its quite a thin but reasonable quality wool that doesn't fray much when being used. The colouring is very consistent and leave a soft finish for the final product. Also a reasonable value for money.
