It DOES work! Easy to apply. Works on eyebrows too.

I used it on my husband to cover gray hairs on his beard and head. I also used it on my eyebrows and it tinted them.-It was super easy to apply. Spreads out just like shampoo.-A little goes a long way. Just like shampoo it lathers so you dont need much to cover a large area.-He left it for 25 mins and it was enough to cover his gray hairs.-I LOVED that it comes with gloves and covers for you and your ears.-It worked on my eyebrows too, but make sure you apply it exactly on the area you want dark because it tints the skin too.-No irritation and my skin is very sensitive.I recommend it! It's pretty nice.

This was the first time I’ve ever tried hair dye shampoo and I was impressed by the results. I have long, thick hair and I have a good amount of gray hair. I pumped the product onto my gloved hand and proceeded to apply it to my dry hair (the box says apply it to dry hair but the electronic description says to apply it to wet hair). I massaged it in and left it on for roughly thirty five minutes. Then I washed it out. It covered all of the gray around the front of my face and near the back of my neck where it’s the most prominent, and where I concentrated working the dye in most. However, it didn’t get the gray in the middle and back of my head. If I don’t part my hair you wouldn’t know. This was my fault because I concentrated on the front of my head and not the middle and back. I suggest that if you have a lot of long, thickish hair you might want to part your head into four sections and work the shampoo into each section to ensure total saturation. I’m confident that this will yield the best results for me the next time I color my hair. I like that there’s enough in the bottle to accomplish several washes. I also like that it’s relatively quick. I put it in my hair and do a few things around the house and next thing you know it’s time to wash it out. I used my own shampoo and conditioner afterwards. The color was set and didn’t wash out.The only two issues I had was I’m not crazy about the smell, and the product made my head itch while it was processing. Both issues were gone once I rinsed the product out of my hair.Overall, I like this shampoo dye and plan on continuing to use it.

I have Storm colored hair.. yes that storm from x-men, so in order to blend with many a synthetic crochet hair I decided to try this shampoo hair color thinking it was semi permanent.Upon receiving the package there are minimal ingredients listed which worries me, then it says permanent color NOT semi-permanent. It also says in order to maintain the color you should reapply every 14-15 days, that's way too often for my liking!Due to the fact that I can't confirm the ingredients, and that it's permanent instead of temporary. I'll have to wait to try this item. I'm too afraid of having an allergic reaction when I'm not even trying to have all black hair. The style will be temporary so I would like the color to be as well. The packaging leaves much to be desired by way of actually listing all the ingredients and the listing should say PERMANENT COLOR so other people don't get confused. The idea is nice but irl this is a dud for me and my allergy afflicted family. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

i have been dying my hair black for 10 years, we all know how black is the worst to maintain the roots on. These say to leave on for 15 20 min, if you are covering virgin hair or greys then it wont work, you will have to leave it on longer. doesnt seem to fade. nor stain skin, regular dye smell. it is a pump with 2 bottles in it, the pump blends the two bottles. i assume one is shampoo and one is dye, you can definitely separate and use separately as regular wash and regular dye.

Stains your walls, but colors pretty well

I was hesitant to order this Bablabear Black Hair Dye Shampoo because the packaging and claims look questionable. But I gave it a try in the hopes I could put off permanent coloring to cover some sparse grays. Glad I did.- THE DYE is rather colorless when it comes out. It has two streams, one’s the color, the other is the developer, same as other dyes. It’s a cool concept as it allows for the use of even a little as needed, unlike a box dye that pretty much requires you mix the whole thing at once. It needs to be mixed well to activate, so I do this in a bowl prior to applying on my hair. The kit comes with some thin disposable gloves.- RESULTS: Dye results are impressive. The outer layer of my thick hair had no noticeable grays. But inner layers still had some. It’s my fault for not using enough shampoo, so be sure to fully saturate and mix well. I need to dye my entire head, so I might get 4-5 uses out of one bottle. It’s a true black, a bit darker than I’d like. I think this would be convenient for those with spots of gray, so they can pump a little as neede. Also ideal for those with short and thin hair. Not the best for long and thick hair, too much work for semi-perm.- CLEANS HAIR: Hairs is clean afterwards, and surprisingly smooth and not stripped.- PUMP works well, and arrived without leakage. After each pump, it leaks a bit so make sure you catch it. It stains tile, and is hard to get off so also spray off your shower post-rinsing.- Expires 7/26/2026.All in all, a neat solution for people that want a wash-out dye. I’m waiting for the permanent version.
