This is well packaged, it comes with two lancers in case the first one does not work, one test which looks just like the ones used for testing for Covid, it has a sterile alcohol wipe and the solution drops to activate the test and well guided instructions on how to do the test.I opened the test which was in a sealed packet, used the lancet as instructed and the pipette for the blood to go up to the line on the pipette, you squeeze the end of the pipette to put the blood in the little well of the test and added the two drops od solution as instructed and then had to wait 10 minute for the result. Mine showed one line on the "C" which shows i dont have any issue with my thyroid. I think this a great test if you feel you have symptoms to get a quick result. This a guide to show if you maybe have thyroid issues to go to your GP with your test. I found this kit to be of great quality, simple instructions and great for the price.

As a pre-check for testing for hypothyroidism, this is an inexpensive means to find out about TSH levels.It's quite similar to a COVID test kit, but with a couple of spring loaded lancets instead of a swab to shove up your nose.There is an alcohol wipe to clean your finger, the aforementioned capsule with a spring powered needle to draw blood, a sample bulb to collect it and the test cassette to deposit the sample. Add two drops of the test fluid and you just wait a couple of minutes for the sample to spread. The indicators on the test cassette show positive, negative or invalid.As long as you don't mind using a lancet, it's easy to use and gives you an idea before venturing to the clinic for the official test.

This was very easy and relatively quick to use. It came with everything you needed to carry out the test. Two spring loaded lances, an alcohol wipe, buffer solution, capillary tube to collect the small amount of blood and the test cassette. It also had a leaflet that is well written and steps you through how to carry out the test, with pictures and text. There is also a package insert leaflet that gives a well written and concise summary about what TSH is and how it is used to test for Hypothyroidism, (which I believe is when your thyroid is under performing) - the writing on this leaflet was tiny, but it was interesting.The only other things I needed was a clean tissue, to press onto the finger after the blood sample had been collected and a small plaster to pop over the tiny pinprick hole made by the lancet. It stopped bleeding very quickly and I only used the plaster to keep it clean for the hour or 2 after doing the test. The lancet is spring loaded and you just press the end and it pings into your finger very quickly and I hardly felt it.The results are read 10 minutes after applying the blood sample to the cassette, so pretty quick.The Diagnox leaflet does explain the test looks for elevated levels of TSH, at a cut off concentration of 5 µIU/mL, so my understanding from the leaflet is that you have to have a TSH reading higher than 5 µIU/mL to get a positive reading indicating you may have hypothyroidism - underactive thyroid. It also says you need to get a physician to then decide if further analysis is needed. A negative test result just tells you that your TSH is not above 5 µIU/mL. So the leaflet explains that this test does not test for hyperthyroidism - over active thyroid.An interesting test, but obviously from reading the leaflet, it is just an indicator - and you need to see a doctor or physician if you are having symptoms you are worried about.It is reassuring for me to see that this test has an EU CE mark - which would make me think that it has been certified under some sort of regulations, for use in Europe. The one I got, on 07/2025, arrived with a date mark of 2027 -05, so well within the use by date.A nicely presented and produced test with very good explanations and instructions. Very easy to use. The print size on the package insert could do with being a tad larger, but there is a lot of useful information on it. But as the leaflet with the test kit says, go and see a doctor if you are worried about your symptoms.

Very easy to use, instructions are clear and concise. The test was easy to do and gave the result I was assuming I'd get. While I don't have issues with my thyroid it was very reassuring to see the test indicate everything was fine. The results came up very quickly, and although the test says give it 10 minutes I could see in seconds that everything was fine.
