I suffer from patches of very dry skin on my right hand once a month, and it normally takes a whole month for the skin to recover, only to become dry and hard again. This cream has made an impressive difference after using it twice a day for the last three days. One spot is very calloused, and thanks to the cream, the hard skin is slowly peeling away and revealing softer skin. The cream, consisting of a variety of natural ingredients, is a light whipped cream that melts into the skin and revitalises it almost instantly. I am sensitive to lots of creams and lotions, but I don't get any burning, stinging or other irritations from this one. The scent is also very light – a very soft floral scent that isn't overwhelming (I'm very sensitive to fragrances as well!). Not much is needed per application, as just a dab spreads generously across the skin and soaks in quickly. The cream comes in a little round tin. I did struggle to open the tin, as the lid is very tightly secured. I ended up asking my husband and daughter to open it, and it even took them several tries to unscrew the lid! However, now that it's open, I just don't close it as tightly. If your skin needs some TLC, this might just be the right cream for you.

Onsen Hand & Cuticle Rescue Cream.This is a handy (travel) sized pot of cream to help keep hands and nails moisturised and smooth.The screw top tin comes in a card box, which perhaps seems a little big & superfluous for the single tin inside.*The sales picture says 2 pack, the sales info says 1 in the main header, yet 2 in the 'number of items' bit. Confusing.That aside, what's the actual product like?Well I found it a really pleasant cream to use, you don't need a lot, it's easy to gently apply to hands and nails, absorbing into the skin quickly.I also added a little to my heels and again the light cream sunk in quickly.No discernable scent.After the first application I did find the skin felt softer & actually looked less dry which was a lovely & promising initial impression.I'm a keen gardener so my hands do suffer from exposure and scrapes & constant hand washing has left my skin looking and feeling older than it is, so this little tin will become a staple to use at the end of each days 'work', a little beneficial treat for my hands and nails.I may play in the soil/earth but as a 'Girl' I still want to have nice hands at the end of the day! 😏I like this little tin of vegan cream goodness.

I already regularly use the cuticle oil by this brand and I absolutely love it, it’s not too greasy and is a pleasure to use. Its ingredients show a long list of natural ingredients and it’s the natural ingredients which give it it’s beautiful subtle scent. This hand and cuticle cream is more of the same.Be prepared for a small container, the product description clearly states that it contains only 26ml but as the outer box is so big I was surprised when the little screw top tin popped out. The tin is beautiful, I will definitely be keeping and repurposing once the hand cream has finished. The actual product looks like a thick white coloured cream. It’s not a very thick cream but is very moisturising and conditioning we don’t need it use much as a little goes a long way, just as well as you don’t get much.It’s called a hand cream but can be used anywhere you may happen to have dryness. We are in the middle of a heatwave right now and I don’t really have much dry skin at the moment so I’ve just used the smallest amount around my cuticles. This isn’t something I’m likely to be regularly slathering onto my hands, as I don’t have much I will reserve for when I really need it’s help. And it is called a Rescue Cream after all.

A beautiful tin of "posh" handcream, with minerals and botanical ingredients, which comes in its own little box. The tin, which has cream and blue floral detailing, with a screw-off lid, is just the right size for keeping in a handbag or taking on holiday. The cream inside is bright white, with a very subtle floral scent and a rich texture. It feels luxurious, silky and nourishing when applied to skin and nails.My hands have been feeling very dry in the current hot weather, so this is a real treat to apply. My skin appears instantly softer, remaining soft after application and even my nails look so much better and less dry. I'm also applying a little to my elbows for instant softness. I'll be applying this at bedtime (after all handwashing), so that it can fully get to work overnight, and in the mornings, to re-moisturise my hands - it certainly feels as though it's caring for my skin. I'm familiar with most of the ingredients but haven't used anything with Tsubaki oil before. I have extremely sensitive skin but have had no itching, reaction or redness after using this cream. I'm so pleased with the results and can happily recommend this Onsen hand rescue cream as a perfect treat for yourself or as a compact yet luxurious gift for a friend.

I was confused as I didn't know if I should expect one tin or two as the description page says both in different places. Anyway, I got one tin, which was in a box big enough to pop a second tin inside. It's a nice soft cream, not unlike Nivea, and is really quickly absorbed into the skin. I have a nasty dry patch on my left elbow and it began to feel better after one application. That's a bonus spot though as I really got this for my cuticles as they are in a bit of a state and I need to get them in a better condition before I get my gel nails done. Some reviewers have said there is a fragrance, but after a good sniff, I can't detect anything in the tin I received.
