I’m seriously impressed with this wireless retro game console. It comes packed with over 20,000 classic games, offering an unbelievable variety that covers pretty much every retro title you could want. Whether you’re into arcade, platformers, puzzles, or old-school RPGs, there’s something for everyone here. I’ve spent hours playing without getting bored!Setup was a breeze—just plug the console into your TV via HDMI, connect the wireless controllers, and you’re ready to go. There was no need for any complicated installs or updates. The connection between the console and the controllers is rock solid, with zero lag or dropouts during gameplay.For retro games, the graphics are surprisingly good and crisp, making the classics look better than I remembered. The controllers themselves feel really well-made—comfortable to hold for long sessions, responsive buttons, and excellent battery life so you’re not constantly charging.It’s a fantastic gift idea for anyone who loves nostalgia or just wants to dive back into the golden age of gaming. Although this is currently unavailable, and I imagine for reasons that anyone familiar with Nintendo's litigious ways might understand, this is a pretty decent emulator system. It is packaged with a whole bunch of emulation software, covering every retro console of the yesterday. Although it boosts 20,000+ games, one needs to understand that many of these are not in English, many being Japanese, USA, UK, etc released versions of the same games. Some are under different titles. Some may not work, some of these games are unfinished, and so on. Despite the amount of junk, there is a decent collection here in the various menus, should you take the time to explore.

Took me back in minutes. Setup took barely any thought and the controllers worked straight off the bat. Played for hours without glitching or freezing, which is rare with these kinds of things. Didn’t expect the games to feel so smooth, and everything responded well even from a bit of distance. No wires dragging across the room, no fiddly bits—just switched on and it worked. Never felt like it was trying too hard to be flashy either, which I appreciated. Found myself digging into old favourites I hadn’t touched in years. Great for a few mates or just killing time alone.

There's tons of these emulator sticks floating around.This is an above-average release, in that the games are more clearly labelled, and most of them have meaningful screenshots.The selection of games bundled with it is pretty comprehensive - all of the big-name titles you'd expect are present on each of the systems.The emulators work fine.The stick is using the SEGAM 066 EM V1.0.0 2024-04-16 15:08 firmware. I am not sure if this is a firmware that is moddable - but if it is, then you would be able to upgrade the device's performance with a better quality (faster access speed) SD card and running Retroarch on it.As it stands, it's pretty good as it is.Main annoyance would be that the controllers are poor and unresponsive: They're each powered by two AAA batteries, which is annoying; and they're not particularly good. Not the worst I've used, but not really comfortable to play with - both the buttons and the D-pads feel unresponsive.But they're connected via a wireless dongle plugged into a USB port - so there is the prospect of connecting up your own controllers to avoid this problem: Although that could quite easily be prohibitively fiddly if it doesn't just work out-of-the-box with your wired controller. Requiring you to mess around with the SD card and look for config files to manually edit; or maybe necessitating installing Retroarch.The connectivity of the device is fine - same as an Bolo Firestick.
