I’m really impressed with this handheld steamer! It’s super powerful (1800W) and heats up in seconds. I love that it can be used both as a steamer and a regular iron – really handy when you want to switch between the two.The handle feels comfortable and well-balanced, and the steam trigger can be locked so you don’t have to keep pressing it. The large removable water tank lasts up to 12 minutes, so I can steam several outfits or even curtains without refilling.The steam is strong and steady, works well on all fabrics, and it’s great that it can be used both vertically and horizontally. The auto shut-off feature is also a nice safety touch.Overall: powerful, easy to use, and perfect for keeping clothes looking fresh. Highly recommended!

I got this steamer for getting the creases out of photography backdrops and it does a fantastic job. I had another one previously and this is a real upgrade for me and saves loads of time when getting ready. The heat up time is very fast and once it’s ready to use the steam output is brilliant, it’s quite large but does have a good capacity so it can be used for a long time before having to refil. This is a premium product with a price that is not the cheapest but it is excellent value as it performs better than any others I have tried.

I had a more basic, travel Tefal steamer, which worked really well, but the water reservoir wasn't great and it could only be used in an upright position. This more substantial unit solved these other issues: it holds more water and, most importantly, its usability is much more versatile. I can literally steam my duvet cover while it's still on the bed! Which is super, super useful for me. It works really well, removes even heavy creases with a few pass-overs, and doesn't weigh a tonne, either. I'm very pleased with it.

Well, I won't be abandoning the iron just yet, but this steamer is very close to ending my dreaded job of ironing.I have actually owned two steamers already in the past, and both have since found their way to the charity shop as they just didn't stand up to their claims. This one from Tefal however is a big step up from the others I owned, while it won't be replacing the old trusty but dreaded iron and ironing board, it certainly comes very close depending your needs.Now I do need smart dress for my work, which means shirt and trousers. This is the big difference between any iron and steamer face off. You can use this on an ironing board but you cannot press a crease in a trouser or shirt collar in the same way as an iron. That aside however, if you are more a casual trouser/short and tshirt wearer then this thing is perfect. It makes super light work of removing creases from casual clothes and is far quicker than ironing.When it comes to price I think this is on the mid to higher end of steamers, but I have to say it is a clear step above the unknown brands that I have tried before, and smarts aside I think could easily replace your ironing duties.

I tend to do most of the ironing in our household as I find it quite relaxing and satisfying (while my wife finds it a chore).There are certain garments (of hers!) with frills or runched material which I find fiddly - our steam generator iron works fairly well at dropping out the creases but it’s a bit unwieldy.The Tefal PureForce garment steamer is a game changer. Compact and lightweight, it heats up in seconds with simple controls to select your preferred power level - I’ve found I just default to “Boost” for speed and effectiveness.Steaming frilly dresses, skirts and tops hanging from our stand is much easier, with better results. The 180ml tank requires refilling after four or five garments, but it’s easily done and the tank size contributes to the ease of use.The steamer can also be used horizontally on the ironing board - used like this it’s less effective than a steam iron, but if I just need to press a shirt for work its perfect due to the fast heat-up time.We’ve also used this now to steam and freshen our mattress and curtains, where the extra-long power lead came into it’s own.

I’m really disappointed with this product. It arrived scratched and marked, clearly used and returned, which was frustrating enough. But even worse, the steam output is incredibly weak, even on the highest setting it barely produces more than my kettle. I’m not new to clothes steamers, and bought this as an “upgrade” from my trusty Philips 3000 Series STH3000/26, which I’ve used happily for two years. Unfortunately, this is a definite downgrade. Poor quality, poor performance, and in my experience, typical of Tefal. It’s going straight back.
