I use silicon grease a lot when installing PVC gutters to lubricate the rubber seals. This silicone grease comes in a large tin and is ideal for keeping in my tool pouch to use when needed. Its a good quality grease and works very well. Being thick it really clings to the rubber well and should last a lot longer than silicone oil sprays.Its generally safe to use on most rubbers, apart from silicone rubber. I also use it to lube O-rings on my hose and attachments and it keeps them supple and water tight and should help to extend the life of them. Being di-electric its also useful in vehicles for protecting electrical components from dirt and corrosion. Overall a very useful grease to have around the home or workshop.Overall I am very happy with this grease, although the current price of £19.99 seems excessive for 100 grams.
