Save function within the games doesn’t work, so you will be unable to save progress within the games, having to start a new game each time. Avoid buying.

The 3200mAh battery keeps it running through my lunch breaks and evening chill time. The screen quality is great for its size, and the buttons are responsive. Best impulse buy for a retro gaming fan like me!

Bought this for my husband’s Christmas present, and he’s obsessed! The R36S has a ton of games from his childhood, and he loves the Linux open - source aspect too (he’s into tinkering). The build quality is solid, and the purple color looks sleek. The battery life is good, and the emulators work smoothly. Definitely a 5 - star gift—he uses it every day!
