I like the ASIRYVA 2 Pcs Champagne Stoppers as they are simple and effective to use - simply push into the open bottle neck (like re-corking) and close the 2 hinged side flaps down over the collar of the bottle to hold it in place against the fizz pressure. The level of grip the stopper gets is therefore a bit dependant on the size of the bottle's neck.Its all very effective and keeps our drink fresh throughout our meal (afraid a bottle never lasts long enough with us to see if OK next day etc).Only warning is take care when re-opening as you are effectively uncorking all over again and if bottle is still fairly full and lively there will be a good degree of pressure built up under the stopper so be sure to have a good grasp before lifting the hinged side flaps or it could fly off.

There are a number of styles for bottle stoppers, this is a fairly typical design that has been used for many years, which shows that the theory is good.These stoppers are well made with a good even covering of chrome on the outer parts, the inner edges are a little rough but nothing drastic.The soft bottle top stopper part sits into the bottle well and seals nicely with no leaks. The sided click down and lock into the neck of the bottle. How well they lock will depend on the bottle, those with a larger/deeper rim will be harder to lock into but will be tighter (e.g. champagne bottles).The stopper keeps the fizz in the wine well (although pop rarely goes flat in our house) but it does work as designed.My only area of concern is that this stopper can be a little frisky when opened, it will ping off a bottle quite violently if not careful.For the price though, this pair are definitely on the lower end of the scale so do provide good value for money.
