I bought these as 'canaries in the coal mine' for my kid's kitchen cupboards in their University flat. They've had silverfish in the kitchen before, which we had to treat with a permethrin based insecticide. The insecticide has a residual effect, but you can't use it in cupboards for storing food and cooking equipment.These Silverfish Glue Traps have an attractant inside, but are food safe. They're only £1 each in a pack of ten. With one of these inside each cupboard they'll know if the silverfish have returned, as they will be stuck inside the trap. We can then re-treat around the edges of the floor, under cabinets, etc. with the spray to kill the rest of them.

I like these as they look as shown, are easy to assemble and there are clear instructions on the back of the packet they come in. I like that the box clearly states to replace these every 10 weeks.They came in a cardboard box and although they are not individually wrapped that's ok as you need to peel the backing strip away before using them.Ideally I would have liked on the traps for there to be a white space on the outside to write the date you put them down but its easy to stick a sticker on the outside so you can easily see that date and when to replace them.Time will tell how effective they are but they seem good so far.Although check the price at currently £9.95 for 10 they seem good value and time will tell how effective they are.

I was really pleased with how easy these silverfish glue traps were to set up around the house. Knowing they’re non-toxic gave me peace of mind, especially with pets about. They’ve caught a few already, so I feel like I’m finally getting on top of the problem without any fuss or mess.Great quality and price highly recommended 👌🏻

Great little traps which are easy to use and unobtrusive.They are very easy to assemble and I like how the paper covering the adhesive has clear edges to hold and peel off easily without getting glue all over your hands.Useful for all kinds of crawling bugs, not just silverfish. Lures in the form of cereal and such like can be added to the traps.Good value pack size, so can cover several areas and change the traps every 10 weeks as suggested.
