I love this round volumising brush I have the Shark FlexStyle which attaches to Shark dryer it makes drying your hair quicker and easier the hold stay with you for days. I have all attachments this is one of my preferred ones. Great value for money.

Very sturdy and fitted with no issues onto my shark flex style hair dryer. I wanted an attachment that would give me extra volume at my roots and this round brush style attachment does exactly that. Also works well for straightening out the ends, quite smooth through my hair and no painful tugging.

This is a perfect fit for my Shark Flexistyle and a useful addition to the brush armoury. I have the large, oval brush for providing root lift but, I do find it heavy and a tad too large for my shoulder length hair and, I rarely use the paddle brush preferring a round brush and this AFDD round brush is quite the perfect side.Works well, the heat comes through, it grips my hair and it's nice and light. My only concern and, the reason I have given 4*, is that I did find it pulled my hair and tangled a bit, not sure if it's what the brush is made of. I have fine, thinning, highlighted hair which I am dead precious about and terrier of even more falling out (it's an age thing). Shark, whom I trust, give assurances that their products are kind to hair but, I have never heard of AFDD or know about the efficacy and testing of their products.All that said, this is a really useful size and shape of brush which can be used on almost dry (damp) to dry hair to pull out any kinks (I wake up with an unwanted curly wave either side of my fringe so, perfect size to eradicate these), give a little bounce and freshen up a hairstyleGiven the price of Shark accessories whilst this is expensive at £25.99, it's not as expensive as Shark and, for shorter hairstyles, it's a perfect addition to the Shark brush armoury. TBH, if I spotted it on Bolo to buy, I would buy it, as it is, I received this courtesy of the Vine programme to review and, if you find the Shark oval brush a bit too big sometimes, this is a very good alternative.

This really useful and helpful plus great idea round volumizing brush for shark flex style attachment works as expected with no any errors and it's doing great job I must admit, it's very comfortable, quick and simple to use after installation, but I mostly like that it looks like really good solid quality for long time of use.I also really like that it has ideal barrel size that works seamlessly on both long layers and shorter fringe sections.I can easily recommended to anyone for this really reasonable price.

Fits well to the Shark, but I have a sensitive scalp and find the bristles a bit too hard. After a few mins of using this, my head got sore and I had to revert back to a softer brush.

Fits perfectly. I have the shark airwrap. Feels like nice quality and well made. I feel the brushes included in the shark pack I got at too wide so this os a slimer version without the soft bristles. I like it so far.

I have had my Shark FlexStyle for a while now and it came with a large brush attachment as well as the standard nozzle and the two curl attachments. When I first got this I had long hair and the large brush attachment worked well but recently I have had my hair cut to shoulder length with some layers and the large brush is just a bit too large. I did get another attachment but that was a little bit too small but this one is just right for my hair length.I find the brush easy to attach and, although it’s not a genuine Shark attachment it looks as though it is. I did find the bristles on the brush to be a bit unforgiving on my hair, but I think that’s because it knots up so much. If your hair is like mine, I would suggest the use of a detangling spray first as this does help. The actual results I got were really good with lots of bounce and volume.I found this brush to be good for shoulder length and I think it would also be good shorter hair too. It seems quite sturdy so I think the price is fair and it’s definitely cheaper than buying genuine Shark attachments.

Better than the curling rods for my thick hair

If you're buying this, you're already a shark user and you know how incredibly amazing it is. This is the attachment you didn't know you needed.I have thick, wavy hair that I wear at collarbone length. I have to roundbrush when I dry it, and the round brush that comes with the Shark FlexStyle is perfect for that if I want straight hair with body. But this little gem? It gives me soft curls where I want them, not where they grow on their own. And they save me a step from making those curls with the curling iron attachment. See photo for reference. Ignore the bit of frizz you can see, that was not the product - it was because I hadn't smoothed my hair out yet because I was so excited for the curls!I also think this would work well as just a round brush dryer if your hair is thinner or shorter than mine. The bristles are firm and short, so they can't take in as much hair at a time as the brush that came with your dryer. So for me, this serves a different purpose. But if you have been finding that the round brush doesn't work for you, this could very well be the thing you've been looking for.

The brush attachment is quite effective at adding volume and bounce, especially around the roots and mid-lengths, after using it with my Shark Flex system I noticed my hair felt lifted rather than flat, if I were to summarize: this upgraded round volumizing brush is a very good choice if you already own the Shark FlexStyle system and you are looking for a styling tool that delivers root lift ,bounce ,smoother finish rather than dramatic curls,happy with the results.

This volumizing round brush fits my Shark FlexStyle perfectly! I have the older version and this brush doesn’t fit the newer version. I have the Shark original round brush attachment, but I prefer this one. The bristles are stiff and doesn’t snag or pull out my hair, unlike the Shark attachments which pulls my hair out. This attachment is smaller in diameter compared to the original Shark round brush. This is perfect for medium length hair. I love using this at the ends of my hair to curl my ends in an elegant way. I highly recommend this round brush.

Definitely an upgrade to base options

If you have the Shark FlexStyle, this brush head is worth adding. It grips hair just enough to smooth and add lift without tangling. The bristles feel sturdy but gentle, and the results are similar to a salon blowout. It makes styling faster and gives my hair nice bounce and shine.

Exceeded expectations

I didn’t have high hopes for this because of the bristles, but this far exceeded my expectations. I have a brush similar to this but with typical “brush” bristles, and it really pulls my hair. This brush keeps the right amount of tension without pulling out my hair and allowing me to get the desired volume. This will be replacing the brush I previously had. I really like it!
